We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Johnson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittany, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
It cost to be a boss lol. Ppl see the things wear where or trips we go on that we rich. But when you running a business it’s basically like having double bills. You have bills at home and shop bills and trust me it adds up. At the beginning of opening a business you are spending alotttttt of money on supplies, decor , different building licenses and insurance.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am a licensed Esthetician located in South Georgia. I love what do every single day. I think what makes me from other Esthetitcian in my field is my hours lol. I work everyday 10am-10pm Monday -Friday and weekends from 10am-5pm. All my service I offer comes with special attention. If I see other things that needs to be taken care of I will let my clients know and it can be take care at there appointment or there next appointment. What makes so proud is my return clients and new clients. My loyal client cheer for me so much. Every time I get a new client they either say someone sent them or they heard about me especially on social media. When I first started it wasn’t hard all just really had to put myself out there. I learn a lot over the years some good some bad but overall good things. I learn to keep pushing yourself and focus on what’s you happy and keep your clients coming back. I want the world to know I always take new client, I take what I do seriously. When I get off I’m still working when I get home coming out with new service and products. I hope one day I will become a mentor to a bunch of ppl.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well good question my bestfriend and I stay 30 minutes away from each other but we always down for a good road trip. I will say we really enjoy Atlanta. We love to eat and have good drinks lol. We notice so far one of our favorite spot is Pasha!! Omg the food and drinks is really good. We are not club ppl so we love a good lounge spot. We really enjoy going to different classes like making our candles ,perfume, lotion and lip stick. We will definitely hit up winery. Atlanta always has festivals and concert. As of now Toast on Lenox is our favorite brunch spot.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My wonderful grandparents. They knew how much it was important to me to open up my own spa. They always gave me positive words , prayed over me and most of all they love me.
