We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittany, how do you think about risk?
I think about risk is putting your best foot forward and just dive in. Taking that leap of faith and putting God first. The biggest risk I’m taking is wanted to live out my dreams as plus size model and deal with my personal life issues. On a personal note, I’m battling with depression and anxiety. I’m utilizing my God given talent to overcome my personal barriers. Some of my talents including praise dancing and modeling. I’m working on starting my own dance school, so I can help the younger generation who may be facing the same obstacles as me. My biggest fear starting my business/career is failure and body shame. As a plus size woman, I decided to become a model to represent and encourage other plus size women to love themselves and don’t let anyone or anything stop them from living and walking in their purpose. The role taking risk played in my life/career is helping me become a better me mentally, physically and spiritually. I’m utilizing my trails and errors to focus on reaching my highest goals. Being successful is very risky and I’m putting everything on the line to do what I have to do to accomplish my dreams. Also, knowing what I know about this world we live in people only support you for how popular you are and who they know. You get more support from strangers. I’m willing to risk it all that’s why I’m starting my clothing line called TrippLe B a.k.a TrippLe Blessed. I’m brilliant, bold and beautiful through all these risk I’m taking I will be successful and make it to the top as a plus size model, dance teacher and entrepreneur. I can only be me, so welcome to my world this is your girl Bre Bre the Plus Size Model.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I love what I do and I have a passion for helping others that’s why I became a certified nurse assistant. I’m a caregiver, companion, listening hear and a shoulder to cry on. I’m most proud of that I accomplished my associates in Healthcare Management and Medical assistant. I’m excited about going back to school for my bachelor’s degree. I got where I am today by staying focused and putting God first. I stayed on my studying and never gave up even when I wanted to. I have the biggest support team and that’s the most important thing to have to become successful. No it wasn’t easy. I overcome the challenges by balance my school, job and personal life and that’s when that strong support team comes in. The lesson I learned along the way is communication and being consistent is the key. I want the world to know about me is I’m very dedicated and serious about my life and career. I’m a go getter and I’m always willing to help others. My brand TrippLe B a.k.a TrippLe Blessed. Our main goal is to change the mindset of the human race in so many individuals who are lost confuse, aggravated, because of lack of money, and lack of direction. I can’t wait to host my own fashion show.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to visit and wanted me to show them best time ever I would take them downtown Charleston. I would take them to eat at this rooftop restaurant called Ink Rooftop and Lounge. I would also take them to a bars called Two Keys and Posh. The most exciting place to check out is Myrtle Beach and we will walk on the strip on Ocean boulevard in Myrtle Beach downtown, go to a hookah bar and go to Wet Willie’s at Broadway at the beach.
