We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Corn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittany, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Consistency! Ive always like to have structure the older I have gotten, especially with jobs I’ve worked. Starting my own business at first I thought okay this will be easy. Although its not absolutely difficult, there are plenty of trials I have faced, staying consistent and blocking off time schedules in my daily life has helped me stay on top of completing my business goals. Majority of my daily activities revolve around a routine and I implied growing and learning how to start and continue my business in that routine

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Oh where do I even begin… I think its safe to say as any artist, you start somewhere. I started off in the beauty guru YouTube world! Cakey makeup, instagram “BADDIE” looks if you will. That’s what the kids call it these days lol. I was determined to learn how to recreate these looks. At the Time I thought It was the way to always do makeup as it was trendy, don’t get me wrong if you love to do your makeup this way that’s okay.. its just not my professional choice anymore. It took years of constantly doing my own makeup and others to get to where I am today. I love research, I love the science behind makeup and what products make others work so I decided To start studying more than just “how” to do the makeup. I began Following and finding all these artist I had no idea existed and it completely changed the application game for me. I became A very less is more kind of gal and super into magnifying someone’s natural beauty and enhancing their facial features. I have a very soft touch to all my looks but they all come with a bang.. very captivating in the most subtle glowy way

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I honestly would take her downtown to the areas most of our community does see during the day, downtown is a different feel during the day, especially on saturdays. Dogs, family’s, laughing and authentic food trucks! Who doesn’t love authentic food, okay! We have a lot of local restaurants downtown just about owned by the same person, but the food and service is amazing. Each restaurant has its own feel and twist to it, we have white water rafting and a zip line too on the other side of these restaurants. We would stay at the new hotel indigo where they have a beautiful rooftop bar that over looks that chatahoochee river, the bar has a swing too.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
A lot of strangers and people I dont know!! Receiving heartfelt messages from followers and strangers that became clients because they have followed my journey for so long! Whether they comment on my progression or just my personality it’s invigorating. The main person besides myself that really stuck that firecracker to me was my partner, my boyfriend. A very loving human being that loves to see me at my best but understands my own problems, he’s inspired me to redirect how I handle every situation I face.. whether I do It wrong first and he gives his advice after or before hand. He’s always told me to keep my head up and stay focused, he has this way of helping others realize their true potential without actually physically doing something, not even with words. It’s more so the feeling of someone believing in you so you owe it to yourself to show yourself what that person sees in you and believe it! My father has always shown me a great work ethic and business skills growing up to him now having a 12 year successful business, although he was “hard” on me growing up … it was his way of trying to show me where it will take me now. He’s always always believed in my art work and always made sure to commend my hard work.
