We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany “2KBoo” Lias and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittany “2KBoo”, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind the success of my brand is how raw it is. As a passionate NBA 2k gamer. I really play and I play hard. The 2KBoo brand is authentic, fun and competitive. I get to be myself everyday and engage with people from all over the world. My viewers get the genuine real me.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a top of line, one of a kind 2k Streamer. I stream on Facebook Gaming with up to 1600+ people watching. I’m different from other streamers because quite frankly I’m just me. No one can be “you” better then “you”. I streamed on Twitch for a year and had about 2,000 followers. But earlier this year, in February, I decided to take my talents to Facebook. My growth has been outrageous! I’ve gained 38,000 followers and now get paid to do what I love to do. Consistency, being entertaining, and having great supporters are the main components in being a streamer.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Honestly if my friend comes to town for a week , she must already understand that I stream alotttt so I’m home most of the time. If we wanted to go out though, we would most likely go to Atlanta. I personally am not much of a drinker but if I mussst….I’m getting a henny and coke!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Oh most definitely big shoutout to the homies at GUTS G-League. It’s always a beautiful thing when other people can see your vision and believe in you. They keep me on track and make sure that I’m doing what needs to be done to further the 2KBoo brand.
