We had the good fortune of connecting with Brieanna Carter and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brieanna, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I’m from Decatur Georgia. I’ve always wanted to have my own business ever since I was a kid in elementary school. I started my first business in 6th grade making and selling bows. So this business lifestyle has always been something I wanted to do . I grew up around so many hustlers and people who knew how to get money it always pushed me to get my own.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m a 20 year old licensed esthetician and body contouring specialist. I became a esthetician at the age of 19. When everybody started college I went to esthetician school instead. I already knew college was never for me. While in esthetician school I got my certification in body contouring at the age of 18. I am most proud that I never gave up no matter what obstacles was presented to me. With me being so young I ran into so many different obstacles. Where I am with my business today I never gave up. I know that sounds so cliche but that is really the truth when people told me I was too young or I should live like a teenager I kept pushing and focusing on my business. Now was this easy ? Absolutely not and If somebody says it is they are lying. This comes with blood sweat and tears literally. But I also overcame all that because I got tunnel vision and I only was focused on how I want to be able to live my life. I’ve learned a lot of lessons while running this business but the main one I would say would be if you want it go get it nobody can want it more than you. What I want the world to know about my brand is this is a place where you can let your hair down and be you and make spoiling yourself a lifestyle and not just a sometime thing.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well I love to eat so me and my best friend got to go to fresh treats for lunch. For dinner we going to busy bee. Oh and I can’t forget brunch we got the best brunch places ever but we gotta go to flying biscuit or breakfast at Barney’s. Now to have us some fun we got somewhere every we going to boogalou lounge or cru lounge. And not to mention we got somewhere to shop everywhereeee

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a huge shoutout to my mom and my whole family for always supporting me and motivating to be great. My boyfriend also plays a huge part in my success even when I feel like I can’t do it he lets me know I can do it and pushes me to do it.
