We had the good fortune of connecting with Brianna Wise-Riley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brianna, what makes you happy? Why?
Happiness for some can be short lived, or derived from something/someone. However, happiness for me is living in my truth. What makes me happy, is being my authentic self unapologetically. In life you’re taught about roles and the way you should conduct yourself but a lot times you realize that you are not what your parents/society expected you to be. You’re just you. My happiness is my myself, family, my hobbies and dreams; and God ofc.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am such a creative person I shock myself at times at how talented I am. I think what sets me apart from others is that I am multi-faceted, there is literally nothing I feel like I can’t do/accomplish. Music is the love of my life and it has always been since I was a little girl. I began writing music in the 5th grade just to vent about my emotions/experiences and I have a creative style to my writing where I didn’t just express my words through certain genres but through them all. What makes me the most proud about my music is the artist I have developed into and how much my artistry has evolved. I used to be so shy, and fearful that people wouldn’t like my art, but when I stopped doubting myself I realized people love my art. I have been working so hard to further my music career that I am the CEO/manager of myself. I network and build relationships with the mover and shakers in the industry to gain knowledge and put myself in a position to succeed on all levels. Being an Independent artist is very hard, it’s expensive and time consuming but it’s so worth it and I don’t plan on giving up. I have learned that being true to you and your values is important, to stay inspired and always create, to have a plan and make the necessary small steps to achieve the greatest outcome. I want the world to know how Great and Talented I am, and I plan on showing them that. My biggest accomplishment of this year was the launch of my Mobile Nail & Beauty Salon “LuVe Nails”. I have been a licensed nail technician since 2018 and being in the beauty industry is so fulfilling. My passion for creativity and just putting a smile on my clients faces, reminds me of why I do what I do.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Atlanta is a thriving city full of excitement and fun, so if I was planning a trip for my friends we would definitely hit up some Atlanta restaurants like, OSHA Thai, Desta, Fin and Feathers, and more. The beltline, High Museum of Art, and more.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Everyone who believed in me, supported me, donated to be, and more. Im so thankful for my father and mother who contributed a lot to my success in life. They have helped me beyond what I expected and for that I’m grateful.
