We had the good fortune of connecting with Breyonia Barlow and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Breyonia, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk taking plays a major part in my life & career. If I’m being honest, it really all started when the pandemic started. I’m learning if there is no risk to take there is no happy fulfillment, you have to be fearless with risk taking. Taking risk in my personal life is hard!!! But the rewards are heartwarming. One of my biggest risk was being ok with being fired from my job and not going back into the 9-5 world. During this journey was scary, I didn’t know what to do but to just do it. I started event planning with little to no money asking family & friends to let me create their events then then the event is breathtaking for clients. Money comes in slowly but surely and bills start to pill up, but I have faith that the risks are going to pay off. Im now here 2 years later with a full business where others put their imagination in my hands. I also took the risk of working for free to gain content and clients. Risks taking prepare and guides you for your purpose in life, it makes you fearless and powerful.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is something that makes people feel good. I always think outside of the box and try to do new things clients never seen before. I notice the art work I do is to help people have a great time from there hard working life. I’m here today by giving clients a full package experience. From table decor ballon decor and great hospitality service. This journey has not been easy of course, I always come across some complications but it’s my job to find solutions without client noticing. Lesson I learn on this journey is to stay true to myself and believe in myself and know that everything will work out even when it doesn’t seem like it. I want the world to know that I’m a humble sweet small town girl. I love the experience of giving people great service and hospitality. I love to have fun and come up with creative ideas for your event. I’ll be your next Walt Disney with events.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would first start off with a nice breakfast spot in the city on a nice breeze day. We then can go for a spa day, get pedicures & bodied scrubs. Once spa is over I will create a small picnic for us in the park. Once picnic is sober we can then do a crazy adventure like sky zone or hiking or swimming. Once we are done we take a nice hour nap to then go to dinner and a nightclub. I love to explore the world and try new things

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Thank my family for always being there to help me set up and take down. Thanks to Shan on the rocks for catering my events with fancy elegant drinks. Shout out for Tuesday creation for allowing me to shadow her events. Thank you God for giving me the will power to push through
