We had the good fortune of connecting with Brey Foster and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brey, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Well, I saw that there was a lack of high-quality and cheap cosmetic goods locally so I figured that I would use my social standing to try and hit the ground running on my new cosmetics line which is launching soon by the way.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am most excited about to be able to have the opportunity to be in an upcoming coming film Color Blind by the mind of Film producer and multi-Grammy nominated Rapper Micheal Steven-Paul.

I got to where I am now professionally by planning and taking risks. Taking risks isn’t always easy especially when it comes to collaborating with brands it can be lucrative, but it also comes with the risk of potential conflicts of interest or criticism for promoting products that may not align with my values or others.

I have learned to always be well grounded, humble and to remember how blessed I truly am.

I’m an upcoming Actress, influencer and entrepreneur. I have over 14 thousand followers on Instagram and 10k on tiktok where I share my interests in fashion and beauty, I own a cosmetics line that’s launching very soon named Blossom’d Cosmetics!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Omg I love this question! I would most definitely recommend site-seeing for sure there’s many beauties to Kentucky but if I had to recommend one place it would be Beyond Van Gogh in Louisville.

We would most definitely sit down and eat at Proof On Main, after maybe we could visit the aquarium or go to a club! I’m a well-versed person.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shoutout to Director Micheal Steven-Paul for taking a risk on me and seeing the acting potential I didn’t know I had, shoutout to family and friends for their support and for believing in me.
