We had the good fortune of connecting with Bresean Pierce and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bresean, how do you think about risk?
Born & raised in the 1of the most Violent Cities in the state of Virginia, you just want to make it out. Growing up as a hood baby in Portsmouth, Va you just trying to stay alive, make it out & put your city on like any other artist. That shit comes with risk! I never approach risk, I take from it. I take on risk with faith in God & Intuition like a bully.. ya know? Whether it was a blessing or a lesson it was for me! And I’m going to get what’s mine regardless. God reminded me of that with every risk he present to me. When I think about risk? I like to think of us as a toxic couple. Joker & Harley Quinn type shit! It’s something about me and risk that mix so well then we don’t. Certain risk I took led me to the highest points of my life & career but it also led me to the lowest points. No regrets! I took from it instead of it taking from me but that’s God credit.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Actually, I wanted to be a professional choreographer at first lol I’ve always been known for having a unique style. It wasn’t until summer going to 9th grade me and fashion fell in love. I was in this group called “TeamFab”. my house was the link spot. Me & 1 of the girls from the group will sit & customizes outfits for the girls in the group. From that day it was just me, god, & fashion. My high school years?! Man I literally put my heart in fashion. Dressed up everyday almost. I even took Intro to Fashion sophomore year (I took it twice actually). 2017 to 2019 I just really network like free styling, creating content, & collaborating with other creatives. Me & my best friend will book shoots just so we can have content to post & then some. In Fall 2017, me and my best friend stacie threw a fashion @ my brothers’ hair bar. We styled all the models with the clothes we got from work. We worked at a old local thrift store together. Wasn’t until 2021 I got my first real client. S/o to scar baby! U smart, u loyal… u beautiful. She dm on Ig @ 3am like let’s work, I like your style. I’m like fuck it let’s go. I flew to Vegas & We made magic! She’s in the same In the same field. Just crazy actually have someone from another state & in the same industry acknowledge your work you just make u feel good. 1 step closer to your dream.
What separates me from Most wardrobe stylists & Influencers is that I go off what makes me happy, feel good & confident. Not what others think! I live in my own world, ya know. It’s like I’m dressing my personalities. I can even describe my style because just like me unpredictable & different. Just like me.

Mostly, I’m excited for is all the new looks, creative content, events & rebranding Heyso Collections. I’m experiencing a new era of myself & I feel like I owe my supporters more than what I was giving them. Feel like they deserve to know “Bre” too. Who’s Heyso without Bre?.

3 things I’ve learned is so simple but so strong. Trust God, Trust your work, & Trust yourself. I plan to get that tatted because that’s what go me through life. Whoever reading this right now? I just want them to know that the underdog always comes out on top! Not matter what’s against them.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Omg! I can’t wait until my bestie actually comes to visit. To have me, Dee, Rhe & Stacie for 1 lit night on edgewood will be gift from god. I mean, it’s Atlanta, I feel like as long as you’re with the right vibes…You’ll have a night to remember in ATL. We done had some lit nights with just me, Dee & Rhe. I done had some wild nights with just me and Stacie. Then again it’s always a good time with my girls…

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I really have to take this time and shine light on GOD! Of course, my family friends blah blah blah… but I just have to give this one to God. As y’all get to know me you’ll see why!
