Meet Brenna Harrison | Business Owner and Personal Trainer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brenna Harrison and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brenna, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was very spontaneous with no real plan in the beginning. When covid first hit, I just started a small little business with minimal expectations because it was just something to get my mind off of quarantine. Despite my impulsive decision to sell these products, my goal was to make 100% natural products that works for natural hair to aid in hair growth and health. This one business jump started a chain reaction of businesses that I wanted to start. I wanted to keep my niche of natural and healthy lifestyle, so I started a personal training business, and natural foods business that both aid in bodily health using natures products.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
You can achieve health in many forms with the use of organic and natural products, and this is what my brand is all about. B-Curlz Hair Care is made to grow and repair natural hair. RemediesByBre is made to promote healthy eating, immune boosting, and gut cleaning products to improve the quality of lives of vast amounts of people. Lastly, BreFit is my private personal training program made for all types of body types, fitness goals, and ages. All three of my businesses took hard work a ton of mistakes were made, but I learned from every mistake and found a way to improve my approach, formulas, etc.. Nothing you start from scratch is ever easy, but perseverance in achieving my goal is the way I overcame these challenges. The biggest lesson that I have learned along the way is to never compare yourself to anyone else because your journey is specifically catered to you. God made my journey, and no matter who I am in front of or behind, with God I will be exactly where I need to be. I want the world to know that it only takes a will to succeed to achieve anything you strive for. My brand cares about the wellbeing of anyone it touches, and I promise to satisfy every customer and client.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite spot to take anyone would be the beach. We would sit on the beach all day and drink juices, eat fruits, and just have a good time grounding ourselves and soaking up the sun. I would recommend going to Destin, Florida and go to the beach there because their waters are so clear and calm.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shoutout all of my supporters for allowing me to be able to attain success in my businesses, and trusting me to use my products and services. There is no business without any customers, and I thank God everyday for the goals I have accomplished. No matter how little or big my order or client list, I will forever be grateful for the honest support that I receive.
