We had the good fortune of connecting with Breanna Greenlee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Breanna, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
One thing about the industry I’m in that outsiders are unaware of is that you have to be careful of people who have already made a name for themselves to help you. When you’re talented and unknown people use you to help them but it’s not to really help you or they make you feel like it’s an honor to work with them as if you’re the untalented creator. I’ve have to always make the decision to choose me and what’s best for my brand or the publicity to get my name out there more.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I use to tell people that I was a creator instead of a designer. In my eyes it was more than just clothes it was a expression. When I was little I use to take all the craft items my teacher had to offer and decorate my room and put things together. I’ve worked a job since I was 16 so I understood the importance of customer service. I’ve always been creative so with the two combined it was helpful moving into my next phase of becoming a designer. Sometimes I still lack in certain areas and I still try to take seminars, listen to podcasts, study new designs and cultures overseas to help me always become better than I was last year.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Wow this is tough lol only because my Bestfriend works for my brand as well. Kings Bowl is my favorite, they have great food, drinks and fun all in one.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a shout-out to the public. Honestly social media has been the biggest reward to my business in todays world. Of course my family, spouse, and friends are held at my highest honor but the public makes my business stay important. Sometimes it’s unreal to know out of all the biggest, highest designers in the world someone chose me. They believe in me, and want what I have to offer.
