We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandon wysote Thrifter & designer and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brandon wysote, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process at the time was that thrifting would be a easy way to make extra cash and just keep me busy
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m currently one of depops top sellers and along with that I run my ig page and try to interact though out the vintage community as much as possible one of the things that sets me apart I feel like is the stores branding we’ve done tees and hats so far next I want to release another tee but I’m still trying to figure out how to advertise it Some of the lessons I’ve learned from running buy now cry later is that always know what your selling
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
If I had to give credit to anyone for my success would be the vintage & thrift community mostly my friend Rachel who really got me involved with the other pickers and seeing what they were doing and asking myself how can I put my own twist on this coming from a music industry background and doing photography
