We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandi Johnson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brandi, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
As of being a single mother, I experienced hardships of providing for my daughter. When I experienced a very hard moment, I had a very deep worship and praying moment with God. As I was in that deep prayer, God gave me the vision of starting a nonprofit organization to help single parent families like myself.
What should our readers know about your business?
I am most proud and excited about the small goals that I accomplished through my business, like, donating baby products to single parent families that were in need and looking forward to expanding more help to others. I got here today business-wise, by advertising my business over social media platforms and “word of mouth” in my local community and it was very easy because I had numerous of major connections. The lessons that I have learned along the way was, to not give up on your dreams and goals because when God gives you a vision, it will pursue in the long run and be very prosperous. I want the world to know that, “Just because you’re a single parent, it doesn’t mean that you’re alone and that you will accomplish what God has destined for you and your child/children.”
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to my local community church, Unveiling Ministries, because it’s a very great church to worship, expand your growth with God, and really understand things when it comes to your spiritual life.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Coach Stormy Wellington, Pastor Sarah Jakes- Roberts, Dr. Brittany Harris, My leader Elijah Griggs, & My Mother.
