We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandi Banks and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brandi, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?

I want people to remember my willingness to share my knowledge and my passion to help others achieve their goals.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

I got where I am today by being patient and strategic. Business is much easier when you ditch your personal timeline and align with the natural timing of life. I was able to overcome challenges in business by having a solid support system within my friends and family as well as other entrepreneurs. Along the way, I’ve learned it is best to get a solid foundation for your business so you can scale properly.

Juice Snob is a mobile juice bar in Atlanta that specializes in delicious, nutrient-dense supplements that support the health and wellness goals of people who are pressed for time. Led by a vegetarian of nearly 20 years, we know the power of fruits and veggies and have a affinity for sharing the veggie love! We got into this work to ‘hack’ our genetics and teach others to do the same. We want to show the masses of all socioeconomic backgrounds that it is possible to avoid certain lifestyle diseases and correct others through food. At Juice Snob, we believe that access to healthy and nutritious food is a birthright.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

If my best friend was visiting for a week, we would definitely have to stroll through Little Five Points and check out the shops and sights. We would have to grab lunch at Slutty Vegan. Gotta slide through Ponce City Market and grab a drink at Bar Vegan. While at Ponce, we can indulge in some retail therapy at The Village Market Retail and Bombchel. She’s gotta pick up a couple cards by Kindred Paper Co while in the area. Since we are already in the city, we can walk around and enjoy the murals in Cabbagetown. Before leaving the A, we can make our way to Black Coffee ATL for a great coffee and juice and dope vibes. On our chill day, we can take a ride to Douglasville and enjoy massages at Gateway Massage. Afterwards, we can relax and chat over coffee and snacks from Kuumba Coffee in Downtown Douglasville.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?

The Village Market ATL-ELEVATE program. Through this program, I was able to learn key aspects of building a business from the foundation and positioning my business to scale. Additionally, I was able to connect with other entrepreneurs and add countless connections.
