We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandi Banks and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brandi, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
Bmore stand up!! I’m from Baltimore, Maryland…born and raised…from birth to undergrad at Morgan State University. I feel like Baltimore makes you resilient. Bmore girls are street smart and savvy. We are brilliant and about our business. That Bmore swag has penetrated every aspects of my business. Being able to adapt to unanticipated change is a skill I undoubtedly learned while navigating the streets of Baltimore.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We are a mobile juice bar in Atlanta that specializes in delicious, nutrient dense supplements that support the wellness goals of people who are pressed for time. I am a vegetarian of 17 years and have a passion for sharing the veggie love. I got into this work to ‘hack’ my genetics and teach others to do the same. I want to show others that it is possible to avoid certain diseases and correct others through food.

I got where I am today by aligning with my purpose and manifesting my desires. It was not easy…definitely encountered plenty of adversity. I overcame challenges by adapting to change and letting go of expectations.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love Little Five Points…it’s such a vibe! Gotta take my bestie to the west end for dope vegan food for lunch. Ponce City Market for drinks at Bar Vegan and shopping at Village Market Retail and Bombschel.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Juice Snob would not be here without TJ. She bought juice before I was selling to the public…before I had bottles…before I had a website or a social media presence.

Also, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention my bf. He is a catalyst. He encouraged me to go for everything that is mine!
