We had the good fortune of connecting with Bo Diesel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bo, what do you want your legacy to be?
I want my legacy to be that I helped artists bring their most honest, powerful stories to life. That I was the person who made them feel heard—literally and emotionally. I want people to remember me as someone who didn’t just chase trends, but who created a sound that stood for something deeper. Whether I was behind the boards or mentoring younger engineers, I want my work to echo integrity, soul, and connection—something that moved people, elevated the culture, and opened doors for others coming up in the Atlanta scene.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is rooted in emotion, authenticity, and storytelling. As a producer, I don’t just focus on making things sound clean—I focus on making them feel real. What sets me apart is my ability to tap into the heart of an artist’s story and translate that into sonics that hit on a soul level. Whether it’s trap, R&B, alternative, or experimental, I build soundscapes that elevate the message—not just the beat.

I’m most proud of the growth I’ve had as both an artist and a person. I’ve come a long way from just messing with sounds in my room to now working professionally at The Complexx ATL, surrounded by talented creatives and pushing out records with a team I believe in. The grind has never been easy. There were sleepless nights, financial stress, self-doubt, and moments where I questioned if it was even worth it. But I kept going, because music is the only thing that’s ever made me feel truly alive and aligned.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is this: consistency beats talent when talent doesn’t show up. And your energy matters—how you treat people in and out of the studio leaves a lasting impression.

What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that this isn’t about clout—it’s about legacy. I’m building something that will outlast trends. My sound is intentional. My process is spiritual. And I’m here to create experiences that people feel in their chest, not just their ears.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting Atlanta for a week, I’d make sure he experienced the full spectrum.Dope food, beautiful women, nightlife, and the creative energy that makes this city different. Atlanta isn’t just a city, it’s a lifestyle. From studio sessions to rooftop nights, this city’s got the energy, the culture, and the women to keep any man inspired.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost, I want to dedicate this moment to my family. You’ve been the foundation of everything I am—your love, your patience, and your belief in me have carried me through every late night, every doubt, every risk. Without you, there is no version of me standing here right now.

To my mentors, Kevin Wilson and Barry Williams—you both changed the trajectory of my life. You saw something in me before I even fully saw it in myself. You didn’t just teach me how to produce or engineer, you taught me how to carry myself with purpose, how to move with integrity, and how to respect the craft. I will forever be grateful for the knowledge you poured into me.

To The Complexx ATL, thank you for giving me not just a space to create—but a home. A place where sound becomes soul, and where the Atlanta music community continues to grow, grind, and inspire.

And to my team—Money Hungry—y’all are more than collaborators, you’re family. We’ve built from the ground up, pushed through the struggle, celebrated the wins, and stayed hungry through it all. I’m proud of every one of y’all.
