We had the good fortune of connecting with Bo Danso and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bo, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk taking is something that I feel people as a whole should consider doing more often. The term “risk” intimidates people quite often but in actuality, it is simply taking a leap of faith without a guaranteed outcome. A term that in my understanding of it means…I’m betting on myself. And in the wise words of one of the lyrical geniuses on this planet, “If I’m betting on myself then I completely double down.” (J.Cole)

If you want to achieve any level of success on this planet you need 2 things:
– someone to believe in you enough to give you a chance
– for you to have confidence in yourself and your ability to follow through on the opportunity

Risk taking is the bridge between a regular life, and the life you see in your dreams.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
A former athlete that seeks competition and growth in every aspect of life to hit the pinnacles of success needed to honor my hard working mother and prove to myself, I am who I say I am.

I am a first generation 27 y/o African American man from Ghana, West Africa but born in Lithonia, GA. Being first generation, a lot of the experiences and situations you go through in life, are self-induced. That is/was what helped build my creative and expansive mind. Always thinking of ways to improve, looking for ways to build my success from the ground up, and to establish a firm foundation for the generations to come fuel my undying, innate passion for everything I do.

I am currently a Performance Coach / Project Manager for the prestigious Athletic Training/Performance company EXOS, servicing the associates of Anthem in Atlanta and acting as a liaison between EXOS and Anthem. A role that maximizes on my talents both in the Fitness World and my Managerial/Relationship Building and Cultivating Experience.

I have held just about every position in the Fitness Industry strictly to enhance my skills in every category of this industry and I truly feel that the role I have with EXOS and the company as a whole, encompasses all of the skills and traits I have been able to develop in my extensive work history. With a degree from Kennesaw State University in Exercise Science, I feel like I will be able to maximize on the opportunity presented to me.

My passion comes from being able to make this world a better place through my direct impact on the people that inhabit it. With that being said, my social media presence has become a huge part of who I am. Having a platform that allows me to maximize on the versatile skill set I posess while being able to spread positive energy and good vibes to a world that is in desperate need of exactly that at this time, is a blessing that I plan to use to make a difference in our society and to as many people that choose to tap in with me!

From Inspirational messages, creative content, fashion tips/motivation, Health and Wellness knowledge/content, business partnerships, my personal journey, and most importantly good vibes and THE ULTIMATE HYPEMAN…My social media mainly Instagram) is exactly the place that you want to be. @bodanso

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
In life, you have opportunities to tap into your own intrinsic potential. But the true test in life comes when you find people in life that believe in you just as much or more than you believe in yourself. I have been blessed enough in this life to have experienced this sensation from a multitude of amazing people but none have taken it to the level that my former mentor, Dane Robinson, did. Dane was my Regional Director at Onelife Fitness when we met and he gave a young man his first job after college and took it upon himself to help me elevate my work ethic. He took all the skills and traits I had naturally and showed me how to maximize on my potential and cultivate a level of consistency that would keep me hungry to out do the person that I was the day before. Most importantly, he grew my confidence in myself and my abilities. His belief in me and him pouring into me as much as he did at such a crucial time in my professional development, has helped me become who I am today.
