We had the good fortune of connecting with Billy Miller and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Billy, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I wanted to break away from the corporate environment and own something that I had total control over and my growth and possibilities were all up to me.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart from other agents is my ability to understand and empathize with where my client is coming from and my ability to be the bridge for where they want to go. Amongst my multiple flex commissions plans and the way their structured truly deliver the best service experience in the Metro Atlanta and North Florida regiion to my clients.
I am excited where my business is going now that I have found my home at Residential Georgia. This brokerage truly believes and gives their agents the ability to own and operate 100% of their business and their business decisions. I have been a part of several teams and never felt that there was something missing and that spot has now been filled. There have been a lot of challenges in gettign to this point and getting through all of them all started with the proper mindest. Believing that you can do anything you set your mind to is the first and most important step. The second step is seeing yourself doing your vision (visualizing it as if you were physically there). The other step that is equally important and coincides with these is that you MUST TAKE ACTION on you vision/ dream. Faith without putting in the work is dead and so is your vision, dream, or goal.
I would love for my BRM Brand to be recognized as a brand that its value resides within its clients. My clients are the source of everything that keeps me and my business alive and I could not be more appreciative. The BRM brand stands for including everyone and not judging anyone but learning from each other. The moment we all start finding out what we can learn from another that crosses our path and love each other as we would want to be loved and treated, the further we all will grow and travel throughout life.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
In Atlanta ,you must first eat at Daddy D’s BBQ. Not only do they have the best BBQ in the city but the sweet tea will stop your heart ( now that’s some southern tea). Then you have to talk a walk through Piedmont Park and the new Westside Park. Both are absolutely amazing please to relax from the busy hustle and bustle of the city. What ever you do in Atlanta , stay off the interstates. They are alwasy jammed and when you travel the local streets you get to experience the local life and areas of town that make the city what it is. Then for a good dinner you MUST go over to the eclectic little 5 points on the Eastside at Hattie B’s, the best chicken there is. The area is also filled with lots of shopping and people watching.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to thank Ricky Carruth and his Zero to Diamond FREE agnet training for making things so simple and giving me the direction that I needed to break away from the normal Real Estate teams and become a solo agent.
