Hi Billie, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
HAHA I’m a certified risk taker. I don’t trust people who are scared to take risks, cause why tf you scared??? Anybody that knows me knows I’m there today gone tomorrow lol. I never wait on anybody to do anything. I’ve failed countless of times but it’s always worth the risk in the end. I will literally risk it all to be happy or make my next move. I’m not scared to start over and I’m not scared of what people might think. Risk taking has allowed me to become confident in my decision making. I do still often make terrible ones lol but, I’m my own best friend and I trust myself and have so much faith in God that it’ll all work out in the end. IT ALWAYS DO!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I make music. I make bomb ass music. I make music that I like. I make music that other people like. I’m an artist. I went to a performing arts school, sung in the church choir, danced (ballet, tap, contemporary, jazz, etc) I love it all! Everything I do makes me proud. After, my sessions I just sit and listen to my songs and I’m always blowed that it me. Facing adversity is not easy for anyone and I think that I’ve pretty much mastered a poker face. Prayer, faith, work and staying humble will help you overcome anything! I’m new to this industry and for the past couple years I had to learn not to listen to other people because they will have you stagnant and unproductive. I’ve missed out on opportunities, money all kinda stuff listening to other people. My advice to anybody as an artist DO YOU! I”m far off from where I will be but its within reach, I can see it, feel it, and taste it lol! My entire motto is encouraging people to DO IT AGAIN! whatever you do, DO IT AGAIN!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Ooooooo….. im an introvert and homebody ha! So I will always opt to stay inside, cook, eat, smoke, and some drinks everyday of the week especially if it’s good vibes. When I do go out I’m definitely the life of the party! Anyway, if me and my friend outside we fasho going fine dining. I loveeee a good lobster tail and seafood mac and cheese from Steak 48 or STK. Can’t lie the best food come from small businesses and I can’t wait to try Infusion Crab I heard the food is bombbbb! My family has a catering business Blowin Smoke BBQ and lemme just say if you in the Atlanta area they don’t miss and they’ll pull up to yo front door! I’m nerdy so a coffee and bookstore or museum date is always on the itinerary. I had our spa day planned months ago because who don’t need a massage?

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I really gotta thank God because I’ve been through alot. Honestly, I’m still going through alot lol but my faith keeps me going. My nieces and nephew are my whole heart. I miss out on time with them so much and it hurts but they motivate me to just keep pushing. My platform is built by my supporters so I can’t thank them enough for still following and supporting even when I can’t produce the way I would like to. I will say my first opening acts was put together by SKE in 2019 I got the opportunity of a lifetime and I appreciate them for that more than they know.
