We had the good fortune of connecting with Bibi Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bibi, how have you been keeping yourself busy during quarantine?
During this quarantine, I have had the opportunity to engage with an independent planner alliance group that I joined. It’s been really great connecting with my fellow planners in the area. At times, you feel like you are experiencing ups and downs alone, but this group reminded me that we all have mountains and valleys and how important it is to have a community of like minds. In addition, I have had the time to take online classes and attend virtual conferences to expand learning and networking. Of course, my favorite thing has been the ability to rest and support my family and attend virtual graduations. It has been awesome reconnecting with those I cherish most.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

This journey has been the scariest, most exciting, challenging, and fulfilling time of my life. To know that I am walking in my God-given destiny is a great feeling! I have learned many lessons along this journey. Some by trial and error and some from the awesome support system I have. My favorite lessons learned are 1) utilize your resources 2) people are willing to assist 3) be true to yourself and your brand; be comfortable in who you are who you are not 4) listen to your clients and sell to their needs and 5) outsourcing is not a bad word, I simply cannot do it all!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
God, My Father, Abba, without Him, nothing is possible. With Him, ALL things are POSSIBLE.

My mother, Doctor Mary Anderson, is my hero. She represents grace, beauty, and resilience. She is the BEST mother on this side of Heaven. My mother has said many things that have changed my life. The one thing that stands out, she told me, “Bibi, I am mother, I have your back, wrong or right, I got you!” CHANGED MY ENTIRE LIFE!

My grandmother, Essie Williams is my heart. She is the most caring and giving person I know. She is the epitome of strength.

My Pastors & Spiritual Parents, Doctors Thomas and Teresa Goggins of Thy Kingdom Has Come International Ministries. There is so much I can say about these two dynamic people. They are the catalyst for this crazy faith I have. They have spoken things over my life, prayed for and with me and my family, lead by example, taught me the ‘HOW’ of faith and prayer, activated my gifts and callings….I mean there is sooooooooooooo much more. There is one thing that is certain, I could not have taken this ginormous leap of faith into entrepreneurship without them leading, guiding and supporting me.

OK’s General Counsel, Constancia Carter, has been my dear friend since our freshman year at Spelman College. She supports us by making sure we make strategic decisions and gives legal advice that enables our development as we grow and expand.

South Fulton Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors has become a supportive group of business owners that I have grown to love and appreciate. They have provided wonderful networking and marketing opportunities, access to city leadership and valuable educational workshops.
