We had the good fortune of connecting with Bernny B and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bernny, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Well, I pursued a musical , artist career, due to always wanting to create and inspire , ever since I was a little boy, I knew creating in many ways , musically especially , was what I truly wanted to do. I used to just write music and play around and freestyle for fun over YouTube beats , and now , I am creating in ways that I have ever before . Following my dream to be an inspiring artist also ultimately made me want to pursue it as well.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am an all around creator. From rapping, writing , to freestyle punch in, to production & sounds and melodies. My passion and drive to create endlessly among my peers and others the create around me . I would have to say I am most excited about the different types of music. I’ve had the opportunity to experiment with other sounds and genres, some have yet to have been shown to the world just yet,I am most excited for the growth and development and feedback I’ve received throughout the years. I am forever & extremely grateful for people of have given me a platform to help with exposure and just mutual support I could never say thank you enough. Special shoutout once again to Milagro Gramz, and the mob! I am excited to continue to develop, and perfect more of my sounds I want to sit in. I got to where I am today by just staying consistent and believing in myself as well as others believing in me and seeing my visual and vision . It has definitely not been easy with the simple struggles that come with just being an independent artist. I have learned in this field of things, it’s best to stay patient & stay true to you! It’ll get you the furthest in the end.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take my bestfriend to get tacos and tequila at one of my favorite restaurants in town! We would get half & half frozen margaritas with tacos & chips & salsa. Then we would go out and hear some music and probably just end the night watching a funny movie . Second day we would go out to shopping and eat at a steakhouse more than likely, then we would be Probably go to the studio and work on music. It would pretty much be simple as that something similar structured for other days of the week. We would shoot music videos , drive the through town with the top down letting wind and air breeze through the car!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would have to say, my momma, Katrina, my sister , Nae , My Bubby David and other supporting family members that have supported my music since the very beginning. I would also have to definitely include a Wise man , who believed in me, and my drive and ambition and showed me so much that I know today , with mixing , and engineering records . D Ward ! I have to give him credit and recognition for all the inspiration and help, (even when I didn’t have the money for studio time , he still would sometimes let me record) & last but certainly not least. I have to give big shoutout and thanks to Milagro Gramz, the queeeen of the mob! & also thanks to the mob themselves for feedback and criticism along with support . I’m forever grateful!
