We had the good fortune of connecting with Bernard Fogg and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bernard, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
My favorite affirmation for 2021 going into a busy 2022 is “Everything is Intentional!” I say this to myself every day to mold my mindset to understand that even if something unexpected or just bad happens, that I keep pushing forward with a positive outlook. It means the world to me because once you apply it to thing you do, especially for your business & consumers, you have to remember what you do for your audience has to be intentional. Every post, color, caption and even timing has a purpose, the true art of alignment. I’ve reached the most unexpected people and networked with some driven entrepreneurs just from me setting that intention to attract the necessary, while my business provides resources, financial literacy and even using my brand ambassador role to introduce products and services, I make sure that when its out in the world it catches the right type of people. The bad is a hard lesson, but oh so good on so many levels…why?!…because it tests you on your ability to adapt, revamp, bounce back and really provides the “Why” for your goals! I say all of that to say EVERYTHING is Intentional, so be Intentional!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I want the world to know GQ Trilogy known as Bernard Fogg is a platform created not only to represent a brand but a lifestyle! GQ came from my beginning years of modeling back in 2008 and always being told I look like someone that could be in the well known magazine, GQ. “Trilogy” is Greek and means a series of three tragedies performed one after the other. I want to provide a sense of connectivity, growth and NEXT LEVEL through my platform. For people to understand that I am a real person despite the surface level seemingly coming across as perfect and/or put together, I too suffer in silence. Running a business where you’re dealing with the public, opinions and etc can be hard, but the easy part starts with my intention. I’m so serious about my intentions and how it can value to your life, not an accessory. That alone pushes me daily. I survived Cancer in 2015 and I promised myself I would be an advocate for the next level of life, that you can accomplish anything from the hospital bed to your lavish bed, its all the same. I built a name for myself during the hardest time of my life, where I didn’t even know if I would make it, but I saw the impact and that alone motivated me to be better and do better! I seek to become a Trailblazer for those who just may feel like a series of tragic events keep happening and halting DREAMS, VISIONS and ADVANCEMENT. I’m different because there’s only one Bernard Fogg III, while I am the Third, hence the name Trilogy, I am the only version! I’m always thinking outside of the box, I’m comfortable with being uncomfortable situations because it’s about what you bring to the table, not what others think about the structure of the table. You can always recreate, and I’ve recreated myself so many times because each level is different and requires a different way of thinking and expectations. So, I’m different because my vibes speaks for itself and so does my journey!

People want a REASON, a reason to invest, a reason to pursue and a reason to connect! I strive to be authentic and transparent with my audience! People love to feel a sense of truth when someone is presenting anything from a storyline to products. So when I have my brand ambassador hat on, anything I promote, I’ve personally tried and I stand behind it, so it’s only right I share it with my peers. From health and wellness to the best bakery in town for your snack attack. With my Financial literacy business, our flagship is Credit Repair and that’s a big issue I see often in my community. People don’t know where to start or how to even have the conversation and that was me, but with the way things are moving in todays society, credit is so important. It provides access and ultimately it will set you up for life and your children’s children, I love the business I’m in, from helping single parents to couples securing a better future. I’m very personable and I love to think outside of the box, lets follow the rules but also be creative! The products within the business speaks for itself and I started as a customer and I had to share it with my city, how to change your life not just for yourself but for your family and friends. From products like our budgeting tools, will & trust process, lockbox features, identity theft protection, credit monitoring tools, road maps and so much more, I pride myself in aligning my clients and their peers with affordability and easy access. I Love What I Do!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Now we have to head to the Sagamore Distillery so you can learn about Maryland’s own Rye and Whiskey, a great tour followed by a cocktail making class and of course trying some of their high end ryes! I’m sure you’ve worked up an appetite so we can walk across to Rye Street Tavern and you have to try my favvvvv, the Classic Southern Fried Chicken meal with buttermilk biscuits and whiskey pickles, make sure you dress up friend because the area is a VIBE!

Then we can head to Hotel Revival to snap it up in the beautiful and trendy lobby, then head to the 16th floor to catch a vibe at the buzzing rooftop restaurant & garden bar. the view of Baltimore’s historic Mount Vernon area is breathtaking, so lets toast to the weekend of festivities.

Saturday: We made it a night to remember! Park your car and we’re going to Harbor East friend, we can venue hop lol. Lets take pictures at the beautiful Four seasons and then grab a Froze from Loch bar, one of my favorite restaurants that sit by the water and serves the best cream of crab soup! Then we can walk right to Maximon for some tequila flights and finger foods, this venue will have thinking you’re on a resort from the palmtrees, water view (sits next to loch bar) and marble floors. Once we’re done we’re heading up to another rooftop experience, with that Gatsby vibe, Bygone is stunning and sits over the city as well, 29 stories up!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to shoutout one person, business and book! First the person I would like to shoutout is none other than Ashley Graham CEO of Ladies of MMW Modeling Agency in Baltimore, MD! This woman is not only a close friend but I’ve watched 1 woman build a major movement of all types of women empowerment through fashion! She mentors young as well as seasoned women to understand that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and turns doubt into tangible work and opportunities, all by herself…very impressive! Not to mention she continues to exceed expectations at her 9-5 job, helps other businesses with social media management, runs her own blogging business and so much more! I’ve learn the art of being multitalented and believing in yourself from this amazing person! Ok so one business I would like to shoutout has to be the Best Bakery in Baltimore, Crust by Mack! Not only am I the brand ambassador for the business but with reasoning, the owners Amanda & Jerrod Mack have given back to the community time and time again from kids to aspiring entrepreneurs and I don’t think they realize how big of a deal they are because they give with no expectation. Thank you for all that do you for Maryland, one treat at a time. Lastly I have to shoutout my favorite book that I’ve read 1,000 times and counting lol, “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne. My favorite book because it has literally taught me to turn my thoughts into tangible things through positive thinking. Ask the Universe for things you need/want, Believe that its already done and its aligning with you from the moment you think it and your bound to Receive because of the belief. That book has changed my life and opened my eyes to manifesting the things I never thought I could do, inherit or achieve.
