We had the good fortune of connecting with Bennie-Marie Plummer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bennie-Marie, can you tell us about a book that has had a meaningful impact on you?
Who moved my cheese. Is my favorite book! It teaches you about life and how to make moves. To never get comfortable in life. The cheese is always moving …are you moving with it or getting left behind?

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
MaJor Rezults Drug and Alcohol Testing was founded by me back in 2020. I’m enjoying the journey and everyday it’s something exciting to learn or a new face to meet. What brought me into the business was seeing a need for employers in the area. I believe what sets this company apart is the customer service and the ability to be able to provide drug and alcohol testing services to employers anytime of day or night. The journey has been fairly easy so far but I owe that to my corporate background of working for Marriott and AT&T learning first class sales and marketing skills as well managing operations. The valuable lessons I’ve learned along the way is you only get one shot to change your family legacy and listen to people who have walk down this path of entrepreneurship you will be surprised at what you can learn. What I would like the world to know about my brand is that we work for you. We understand the need and we’re here to service you every step of the way.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love this local restaurant called The Library. The drinks and food is great! I highly recommend the philly cheesesteak fries. Don’t forget about my favorite Mexican restaurant called Tzango north located in Macon, Georgia.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would first like to thank God for bringing the vision to me. Next, I would like to thank my fiancé, my children and immediate families for the generous support throughout my journey.
