We had the good fortune of connecting with Beleshia Mcculley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Beleshia, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I think at this point in my career the most successful part is my growth. I’m touching people that I never imagined I could even get close to. I’ve worked with some amazing clients through the years but in 2024 the clients I have now have blown my mind away. I’m blessed and I’m just happy I stuck to my core values and kept pushing. Lyrical Eyes Management has become a house hold brand in music and I’m proud that everything I am doing now is the same exact thing I was doing when I started.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I think what sets me apart from others is the fact that I don’t bullshit people. I’m straight up and down. I’m also going to show you how to run your business and give you my complete honest opinion. What’s the purpose of lying to you or sugar coating some shit to confuse you. Being in the music industry has its rewards once you officially get “there”. However it truly takes time, consistency, patience and a lot of obedient with added prayers. I over came so many challenges simply because I kept going when people expected me to quit and give up. I just kept learning and getting better and better each client and each time. In the music industry you have to understand that you are dealing with people’s emotions and opinions not always the facts and I think that’s the biggest thing I leaned. You have to stay above the curve and remain teachable. Push the narrative for change and how you treat people and make good music. Create undeniable records so nobody can say shit to you or your clients. Keep defying the odds and learning little tricks and plays to get through the devils door with the armour of God on.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I recently just moved out of Georgia but if one of my people wanted to go I would tell them let’s go to the belt line for a pretty walk and vibes, Ponce City Market to shop, Krogs market to eat and Chicago Pizza / Cigar lounge to hear some live music and dance.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shout out my children. Ashlee and Camari. In my career even as their mom they never steered me wrong. They always have given me their honest opinions and even in that they have became some of the most amazing artists and business owners in their own lives. I never thought music would have taken us as far as it has but it has and we’re here. Ash being 30 and. Mari being 21 I am always in Awh when I hear their music and goals. I’m a real proud true fan and mommy.
