We had the good fortune of connecting with BeckyDee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi BeckyDee, why did you pursue a creative career?
If you want me to be completely honest, I didn’t think I was going to get this big to social media. It started off with making TikToks for fun for my friends. Suddenly, my videos started going viral whether it was over whelming at first, but I started seeing the bigger impact of what my videos meant to people. I started getting messages from people who we’re thanking me for showing how confident I am with my body and my sexuality. Not a lot of people in my culture are very open about that. But to be a representation for the people who never seen someone that can relate to. I love showing the world that everyone is different. I love showing that not everyone is meant to look the same regardless of body shape, fashion, and sexuality. To see the smile and enjoyment people have when watching my videos is one of the biggest rewards and I am grateful for it.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What gets me so excited when I make videos is when I get to interact with my followers. Some see me as a someone to look up to, somoeone they can talk to, or someone they can see refer to when it comes to body goals or body similarities. Right now my just a college student full time who works full time and just having fun! However, when it gets down to business such as sponors I make sure whatever I promote I must try it out first before I let people try anything. I do all Of my marketing emails and deals myself. It’s tons of work but it is worth it!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite food place of ALL time is Pho King. I love Pho with everything in me I always get a Pho Tai. The best Boba place is Oolong Tea ATL up in Kennesaw. It’s super chill and they make the best boba in town. Now if any of my friends came down to Atlanta the first thing we would do is go down to Pedimont park and have a cute picnic under the trees. Of course take them to the tourist spots that I like which are Coca- Cola and Fern Bank. Then take them to Ponce to try out the ramen shop and show the the view. We can go do something crazy and go to Little Five points at Sacred Heart Tattoo. Or going to Roswell Mill to see the water fall.
