We had the good fortune of connecting with Beck Visuals and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Beck, do you disagree with some advice that is more or less universally accepted?
People always make it seem like you have to grind 24/7 no sleep just always on go. And when it comes to not just creating but everybody in life you never want to constantly over work yourself. I think it’s very important to take breaks from work so you don’t burn yourself out. And just take breaks for your body and mind to reset.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My photography is special I feel. The more exposure my work gets I feel you can look at my work and know that I took it. I don’t think I’ve had my proudest moment yet because I have so much more to do but having a photo of mine being featured in Sports Mag “SLAM” In 2020 was a huge accomplishment I didn’t expect to come so early in my career. Nothing is easy about this road, But it has been fun to go through my ups and down with my photographer. You can learn from everything during the process. One of the biggest things I’ve learned is that you can get the furthest in this industry just being genuine and being you. You can always let your work speak for yourself and you don’t have to do any of the extra politicking. At the end of it all I want my photography to be seen around the world and just be able to tell my story and show the world how I see it through my eyes with my photos.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
For a new comer to be staying a week in Atlanta. I would have to take them to one of the many amazing wing spots in the city. Jjs 4 the best fried fish. There’s a lot of tourist type activities that people might say to go do. But if you’re with me I’m taking you to studios , clubs , and underground events. The Atlanta night scene can’t be compared to many. Being in the city you’ll never know who you see and it’s always going to be good energy.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Honestly , I can’t come up with just one person because everybody around me brings me so much support and love. Just the circle I’ve built around me I can say has helped motivate and push me to continue excelling.
