Meet Ayanah | Beauty Entrepreneur, Influencer, & Business Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ayanah and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ayanah, can you tell us about a book that has had a meaningful impact on you?
One book that deeply impacted me is We Should All Be Millionaires by Rachel Rodgers. As a Black woman entrepreneur, this book was a game-changer. It challenged everything I had been taught about money, worth, and success. Rachel doesn’t just talk about making money—she talks about reclaiming power, creating legacy, and giving yourself full permission to live abundantly.
Her message reminded me that wealth isn’t just about numbers—it’s about freedom, choices, and the ability to show up fully for your family, your community, and your purpose. It inspired me to stop playing small in business, raise my prices, protect my time, and truly see myself as the CEO I am. That book didn’t just motivate me—it helped me step into my next level with clarity and confidence.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is a reflection of everything I believe in—beauty, confidence, empowerment, and freedom. I’m the founder of AH Beauty Studio, an award winning beauty salon where I offer luxury beauty services and education through AH Beauty Academy. I also own The Blush Spot, an award winning wellness brand that offers carefully curated products for self-care and feminine health, available both online and on Amazon and at my two physical locations. My mission is to help people feel confident, beautiful, and in control of their lives.
What sets me apart is that I’m not just offering services or products—I’m building experiences, safe spaces, and a movement rooted in wholeness. Whether it’s through a brow transformation, learning about vaginal health, or a training course so you can start your own business, everything I create is designed to uplift, empower, and educate.
The journey hasn’t been easy. I’ve had to learn through trial and error—especially while building a brand across multiple platforms. From running a salon to launching on Amazon to developing my academy, there were many moments of self-doubt and burnout. But I kept going. I leaned into faith, stayed committed to personal growth, and never lost sight of my ‘why’.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that it’s okay to evolve, and it’s okay to pause. You don’t have to stick to one path. You can shift, pivot, and expand while staying true to your vision. Another lesson: consistency and self-belief will take you further than talent alone.
What I want the world to know is this: My brand isn’t just about beauty—it’s about becoming. I’m building more than businesses. I’m building freedom, legacy, and spaces where people can step into their next level and feel good about themselves.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to the family I was born with, and the family I’ve created. My tribe means the world to me. Their encouragement, loyalty, and love have helped me push through every challenge and keep going even when things felt uncertain. I do a lot, and at every turn they are there. Asking how they can show up, and showing up without asking.
I especially want to shout out my son—he’s my greatest motivation. Everything I do is with the intention of building a legacy and creating a life of freedom, joy, and stability for him and his sister. For us.
And I am a huge believer in prayer and the power in it. So I have to also thank Jehovah, He’s the one who really hears all my crazy dreams and thoughts. He’s the one who sees me work hours on hours, writing in notebooks and working like a crazy woman. And like Snoop, I have to thank Me. I’ve been at entrepreneurship for 13 years, and it has taken a lot of determination not to give up, I have so much faith, and I try my best to work towards the next goal while still enjoying the dreams I’m living in real life.
