We had the good fortune of connecting with Aundrilla Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aundrilla, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
The most important lesson my business has taught me is to be consistent, patient, and to step outside of the box. With crochet there are different ways to go and I try to tap into something different everytime I pick up my hook.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My name is Aundrilla Jones. I’ve been crocheting since 2018. It all starting with me scrolling on Pinterest. I would say I’m most excited about learning new techniques & making sure my customers are satisfied and coming back. What sets me aside from others is that I cater to my customers and I leave the door open to grow a bond with them. My journey as a crocheter as not been easy but I’m glad I have a great support system behind me because it’s not easy running a business. Of course I’ve faced a lot of challenges and lessons. I’ve learned to keep going and never quit. Crocheting has definitely taught me to be patient… besides parenting of course. I want the world to know that I’m not stopping here and this is the beginning. I’ve come a long way and I’m only getting better and growing. I love my craft and I want people to know who I am & share my craft with the world in my own way.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love being a big kid and enjoying a variety of food so of course we’re going to Ponce City Market to explore the different options. Andretti will definitely be on the list of big kid activities. For breakfast I’m thinking Gutbusters, that’s a great place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner honestly. And if she’s looking to have a chill and get drinks I would take her to Bowlero in Atlantic Station and then we just might go see a movie while we’re there.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to MY family (partner & 2 kids) & my parents. Over the years they have motivated me to keep doing what I love and to keep going with my small business. They definitely play a big role in my success & journey.
