Hi Asia, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
If you truly love something or have a dream, why give up on it? Don’t let the thought of quitting ever cross your mind. It’s alright to take a step back and reevaluate your plans and goals to achieve what you desire. Always keep moving forward and remember that anything worth having requires hard work and perseverance. So, don’t ever stop fighting for what you want, no matter how difficult the journey may seem.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As an R&B singer, I strongly believe that my heart is what sets me apart from others in many ways. My passion for creating music that everyone can relate to and feel is what drives me. Music has the power to change the course of a bad day and heal a broken heart. I have had numerous highs and setbacks in my music career. However, what kept me going was my unwavering focus and dedication to my dreams. I know that nothing comes overnight, and that success is something you have to earn through hard work and perseverance. Along the way, I have learned valuable lessons that I’m eager to share with the world. One of them is to stay consistent and focused on your path. Comparing yourself to others only leads to disappointment. Your journey is unique, and your time will come. I am thrilled to announce that I’m on the road back to myself. I can’t wait to share my new music and an overall amazing vibe with everyone. So let’s get ready to experience something magical together!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
As someone who loves to stay at home, I’m always on the lookout for an opportunity to try something new when my friends are in town. That’s why I prioritize finding a new restaurant to visit whenever they come over. TikTok has been a great resource for discovering fresh places to try out, and I’ve found some incredible spots in Atlanta, like Crafted Creation, where you can learn to make candles. Although I’m not the best at trip planning, I’m always up for something fun, creative, and of course, delicious!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a huge shoutout to my grandmother, Eloise Mills, who I lost in April of 2023. As a child, my grandmother pushed me to use my gifts, even when I didn’t believe in my own voice. She taught me how to pray, how to keep my faith, and to never give up on myself. Her love and support were a constant source of strength in my life, and I am forever grateful for all that she did for me. I will continue to honor her legacy by pushing myself to be the best that I can be. Thank you, Grandma Eloise, for everything.
