Hi Ashley, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Consistency, discipline, exercising, and making sure I get enough sleep. I also create vision boards and give back to others. My giving isn’t always monetary, I may give my time and/or resources to help. Whatever is needed to fill in the gap

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Exceptional Services Agency started out as a marketing agency, but as time went on, I realized we did so much more. Not only do we product marketing strategies, we also help small business owners connect the dots and fill in the gaps where necessary in order to help their business grow and thrive. This is what sets us apart from other business development agency, as we help you in each stage of your business and continue to be a partner.

I didn’t come from a rich family or a family that was business savvy. Everything I’ve learned has come from educating myself, working in corporate, and making mistakes. Was it easy? Nope, not at all. Anything that’s worth having will never come easy. I’ve endure financially hardship, doubt, and fear along this journey. Two things that kept me going, my faith and my desire to want more out of life.

I’ve learned so many lessons, I can’t even list them all here! One thing I have learned along this journey, is that your thoughts can become a reality. The mind is powerful and you must learn how to control your thoughts and be careful what you absorb. Don’t allow doubt and fear to set in or it can consume you and have you believing that you can’t be successful or you can’t achieve what you set out to do. I’d tell anyone to read “The Power of Positive Thinking” by Norman Vincent Peale, this book will change your life and the way you think.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We’d go eat at New Orleans Food and Spirit-In my opinion, they have some of the best food!

It’s New Orleans! You can grab a drink anywhere! Depending on what’s going on that week and the weather, we’d take a ride on the street car, then hang out in the French Quarter.

New Orleans is one of the most interesting and unique cities. Everything about the city is amazing, from the food, music, the architecture of the historic homes, and the culture. When you come here, you will have a good time no matter where you go.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My husband and my parents. They have supported and believed in me through the process of building my business. That means a lot because everyone needs a little support.

This book I read change my perspective in business and life. “The Power of Positive Thinking” by Norman Vincent Peale
This is a must read and it will change your life.
