We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Rodriguez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashley, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
By definition, “Risk” is exposure to harm, danger, and or loss. All of the defining words, have a negative cognition to it, and anything that is negative, has an aspect of fear to it. So when I think of risk, I initially think of fear. I think of how fear has single handedly, destroyed any opportunities that requires myself to take a risk.

In my world, a risk is a opportunity, it’s a opportunity to grow, to experience, to transform, to evolve, and most importantly to be free. An unexpected amount of fulfillment engulfed my personal life as well as my purpose in life, when I gave myself a chance, when I believed in my abilities, and when I decided to risk the quote on quote, American Dream for mine.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Astrolee Vibes, embodies Poetry, Astrology, and Spirituality. Which is centered around releasing, healing, and aligning. All of which are tools, that I use on my own spiritual journey. I use my platform to educate, by way of my YouTube channel- In The Shadows with Astrolee and community engagements, offer Metaphysical and natural supplies, by way of my E-commerce store, www.astroleevibesllc.com. and provide personal zoom sessions, To help you identify blockages, apply knowledge, and align yourself, on your healing journey.

What differentiates Astrolee Vibes, is that, it’s not my business, but my passion and my purpose. The fact that I get to give back, and help assist and accelerate with the healing process, just as people have helped me, is far more rewarding than material gain. To know that I’m creating a positive impact, is the reciprocation that I need to keep trusting the process. The financial stability that comes from seeds that I’ve sown is a reminder that, what goes around, comes around.

I’m here today, because of faith, each day, no matter the challenges, no matter the highs and lows, I continue to trust in my vision. Nothing about creation is easy, trust me, it has been a journey of trial and error, and definitely learning on the job.
but fulfilling my need to create, let’s me know, that I am here for a reason, because we would be “NOwhere, we would have NOthing”, if it wasn’t for creation. Which is why it’s important, to create, because creation, is not just for yourself, but for others. And Astrolee Vibes was created from the depths of myself, as a service to others.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my friend was coming into town, I would coordinate the planetary daily energy with activity. What I mean by that is,Each day of the week is ruled by a different planet. For example, since Mondays are ruled by the Moon, and the Moon is linked to emotions, nurturing, releasing, etc. Monday would be our self care day. And we would go to Ride on Smoothies and Juice bar, followed by facials and other self care services from Snatched Beauty. We would then, locate my favorite food truck, which is Vego Taco and grab some Salmon Jerk Tacos.

Tuesdays are ruled by Mars- which is about taking charge, action oriented, war, passion, etc.
So we’ll start our action packed Tuesday off with Whitewater Express Ziplining followed by brunch/lunch at Plucked up Chicken and Buscuits and we’ll end the night with Columbus Axe Throwing and visiting a lounge downtown.

Wednesday is ruled by Mercury- which is linked to communication, transportation, and mental stimulation.
So we’ll get our brains powered up, with eats from the Bodega 1205. We’ll head over to Exodus Escape Games, and we’ll grab dinner from Bluewater Bar and grill

Thursdays are ruled by Jupiter- which is linked to Expansion, Enlightenment, Abundance, and optimism, etc. So this would be a great day to visit the Art of Yoga, and we would embrace new experiences, by trying new restaurants, visiting stores we’ve never been too, museums, and city tours.

Fridays are ruled by Venus- which is linked to beauty, sensual pleasures, art, romance, etc.

So Friday, we’ll have lunch at Jarfly, followed by painting with a twist, and we’ll have dinner at Mabella’s Italian Steakhouse.

Saturdays are ruled by Saturn- which is linked to structure, traditions, values, and responsibility. So we will follow our Saturday Brunch tradition, by visiting Hudson’s, we’ll do a little shopping, and we’ll drink responsibly at the eighteen85 rooftop bar and kitchen.

And last but not least, on our final day, Sunday- ruled by the Sun- which is linked to child’s play, creativity, nature, joy, and ego, etc. We’ll have lunch at the Nutwood Winery and roam the vineyards, play the life-size chess game, followed by visiting the botanical gardens. And we’ll have dinner outside at 11th and bay, in view of the sunset.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost, I would like to give a shout out and send my strong appreciation to representation. For everyone thats, empowered and encouraging and inspiring others, just by being in their power.
The measure of their impact is oftentimes, not scaled, until years later.

On my journey, I’ve encountered two individuals, that helped shaped my life, by just being themselves. The first was my fifth grade teacher Mr. Leo Josey, he encouraged self expression by way of poetry, and creative writing, which provided me with a outlet to release suppressed emotions, as well as identify a love and natural gift, for creating and writing which Is incorporated in not just my business but my life path number 3. The second person is my soul sister Olsa, when I met her, she embodied a love energy that I never seen before. The way she cared, protected, nurtured, respected, and communicated with her children, changed my perception and my reality, on mother- daughter bonds. It was her love, and the way she naturally loved, that lit the candle, that was once blown out of me.

I owe knowledge of self, the praise as well. Going deep within Astrology, Numerology, my Human Design, as well as reading The Power of the Now by Eckhart Tolle, and Fear of Intimacy by Robert. W. Firestone and Joyce Catlett, has contributed to my success, as well as my ancestors and the divine, that has guided, uplifted, and supported me on my journey.
