We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Lowery and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ashley, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I knew I could prepare quality food and I could imagine myself cooking for others. I took a chance on myself and I succeeded beyond my expectations. Life is about taking risks, and making sure you leave your mark on this earth. I want to fulfill all my dreams and goals , before my time is up. Owning and creating a business has always been in the back of my mind, and now my dream is becoming my reality.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I fell in love with Art/ creating when I was a toddler. I believe that my intense attention to details sets me apart from the rest. I can envision entire projects in my head and then produce them in real life within a few moments. I specialize in aesthetics when creating my dishes. I want to activate all 5 of the human senses, while creating an experience that is memorable. My supporters are the main reason I am so successful professionally. I have a background in the Corporate environment, so naturally I applied those learnings to my own business. Nothing worth having is easy, but having something to call your own is unique. Time management has been my main challenge. I had to adjust constantly to the demand for my business and personal life. It was rough at first, and I wanted to give up. I finally figured out a formula to expand my capacity. We have to use the time we are given wisely. Never give up on your dreams, just because it seems hard to achieve. Listen to your customers when they give feedback, and put your ego aside. My brand is about using all your God given talents, to make the world a better place. Imagine yourself reaching your goals often and you will always achieve them.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

Honestly, there are so many interesting things and places in Atlanta.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would definitely like to Shoutout my Mother and Nana. They have been my support system and mentors throughout my life. These two women help mold me into what I am today in the food industry.
