Mommy & Me also awards two scholarships per year to single parents with a desire to pursue educational advancement. Mommy & Me organization has partnered up with many businesses and organizations including Walmart, NAACP, Lift our Vote, Black Wall Street, Downtown Rescue Mission and that’s just to name a few. The goal of Mommy & Me is to continuously provide resources and support to single parents that they do not normally have access to. As the Mommy & Me organization continues to grow, we want to close the gap between single parent homes in our community.

It has definitely been a struggle as I further my brand from its humble beginnings of just creating my own Mocktail recipes often I find myself struggling with my brand and its probability of success, becoming a household name. Sometimes I question myself will people accept the brand for what it is? As Mocktails For Mommy has grown we have ran into challenges of being able to find a co-packer and to be able to get into retail stores and so it’s a struggle and it’s an every day struggle but little by little we are getting to where we need to be.

The most important lesson that I’ve learned along this journey is understanding and accepting what I’m trying to do not only for myself but for others when you have a brand that you see where it can go people try to steer you from the path that is pave for you and this is a lesson that I’m learning. Another lesson that I’ve learned is to not except the word know eventually somebody is going to tell you yes and support you and help you to get to where you’re trying to go in life if I would’ve stopped with somebody told me know that Mocktails For Mommy was not going to be successful then I wouldn’t be where I am today so never except the word no keep pushing and go out forward!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I definitely would encourage you to go to Another Broken Egg for breakfast or brunch. I would suggest after a little shopping you would want to go to BLAQUE which is HOTTEST the cigar lounge super fun has a great environment amazing food. Lastly you definitely want to check out Envy Entertainment and Restaurant great drinks definitely a vibe
