We had the good fortune of connecting with ASHAYLA ANU and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi ASHAYLA, why did you pursue a creative career?
My mission is to glorify God through my gift. My work serves as a testament to my spiritual journey, using my talent as a vessel to convey messages of love, hope, and peace. In a world of darkness, I was created to bring the LIGHT. I stand as a beacon, inspiring others to find purpose and meaning through their own artistic expressions. With each note, each dance step, and each creative endeavor, I will continue to weave a narrative that resonates with the hearts of those who seek music that uplifts the soul and glorifies the Divine.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from others is the simple fact that The Most High God has created me uniquely to fulfill His purpose in the earth. My testimony is what sets me apart.
I got where I am today because of my passion for dance, music, and also through trail and error .
To get where I am at now I had to endure a lot of hardships because of my undeveloped character.
The lessons I learned on the way…
~ You can’t take everyone with you
~ God and Discipline are the keys to success
– Stop listening to everyone else “input” and move forward with what God put on your heart to do.
– it’s okay to make mistakes, just learn from your mistakes
I want the world to know about my brand is that I am not doing my art to serve myself or ego but to be of service to others
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
1. Go hiking in nature at beautiful Sceneries in Atlanta 2. Go to spa
3. Go to an open mic in Atlanta
4. Go out to a good restaurant
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My mother has been their since childhood funding my dance & music education.
