We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashawna Lane and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashawna, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success would have to be my self belief. I believe that we are all capable of achieving success and whatever else we fully put our minds to. Whatever we believe ultimately becomes true in our lives. The most important thing anyone can do to get the results they want out of life is believe in themselves.

What should our readers know about your business?

I am a business consultant based out of Atlanta, Georgia. I assist entrepreneurs with business start up, mentorship and strategic ways to monetize their lifestyles.

What sets me apart is that I too am an entrepreneur taking all the same steps I teach. I help people avoid the mistakes commonly made when entering into the business field. I teach what I live through experience.

I’m excited about continuing to learn in my field and showing others that there are better ways to accomplish what it is they’re trying to do in life. We just need positive examples and influences to show us the way and keep us motivated.

I’ve gotten where I am through studying, investing in classes and doing the foot work to becoming a consultant. Many late nights and early mornings reading, taking notes and applying what I learned into my business. It hasn’t been easy but it also hasn’t been a struggle.

Along the way I’ve learned that through serving others provides us a chance to learn, grow and excel in our lives. I believe that the key to fulfilling our lives is by positioning ourselves to be an asset to others.

I would like others to know that I’m serious about what I do and I truly enjoy helping others get to where they want to be in life. If there are any aspiring or motivated entrepreneurs out there seeking mentorship, motivation, support or encouragement with pushing forward with their goals, I would love for them to get in contact with me.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my friend were visiting me we’d start by going out for food and drinks. We’d get caught up and talk and laugh about life and where we currently are. We’d go to a bunch of different restaurants, museums and iconic sights. There are so many amazing places here in Georgia (not just the city of Atlanta) that are definitely worth checking out.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I definitely have to shout out the multiple mentors and friends I’ve had in my life that have encouraged me to go after my dreams. Their beliefs, support and motivation have really helped me throughout all aspects of my life and without them, I doubt I’d be as far along as I am right now.
