Hi Ashanti & Chantè, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The thought process behind TipsyySipz was all about convenience, customization, and creating a top-tier experience. We wanted to take the hassle out of event bartending by offering a fully customizable drink menu that matches any theme or vision without the host having to do any shopping or planning. TipsyySipz is an all-in-one booking, meaning we handle everything from crafting the perfect cocktails to delivering a seamless bar experience. Our goal is to bring the bar to you, making every event effortless, fun, and unforgettable.

At TipsyySipz, we specialize in bringing a fully customized, high-quality bar experience to any event without the hassle. What sets us apart is our ability to tailor every drink menu to fit the theme, vision, and taste of our clients, making every event feel personal and unforgettable. We don’t just serve drinks; we create experiences.

Getting to where we are today wasn’t easy. Like any business, we faced challenges from perfecting our craft to building a brand that people trust and love. But through hard work, creativity, and a passion for what we do, we turned those challenges into stepping stones. We’ve learned that attention to detail, consistency, and exceptional customer service are what keep people coming back.

We want the world to know that TipsyySipz isn’t just a bartending service it’s a vibe, an experience, and a guarantee that your event will be unforgettable. Whether it’s a wedding, birthday, corporate event, or private party, we bring the bar to you, making sure every sip is as unique as the celebration itself.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend came to town, I’d take them straight to College Park Golf Course, where I marshal and lead a laid-back women’s golf league rooted in sisterhood and self-care. We’d grab some of the best seafood in the city at The Crab Boil ATL, then spend the week exploring hidden gems, catching local events, vibing with creative entrepreneurs, and soaking up everything from chill park days to late-night energy. Atlanta’s got flavor, culture, and good people—and we’d tap into all of it.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We want to dedicate our shoutout to a couple of people and organizations that have truly inspired us. First, shoutout to the Black-owned Prohibition liquor store not only is it a standout business, but they also host an incredibly insightful podcast that blends culture, entrepreneurship, and real conversations.

We also want to recognize True Colors PGA, a nonprofit founded by Kent Buckner. Their mission to educate and entertain the minority community about the game and history of golf is powerful. They’re creating access and representation in a space that’s long needed it, and that definitely deserves credit.
