Hi Ariell, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I truly understand the significance of taking risks in life, as they often lead to remarkable changes. Leaving a stable job of 15 years was undoubtedly a risk, but it’s clear that this decision opened up numerous doors for me. Even with the security of a steady paycheck, I took the brave step to venture into the unknown. Purchasing a home just a year prior could have been a daunting factor, but it’s apparent that my determination and hard work paid off as I’ve been able to sustain going on 4yrs with God on my side.

The choice to invest long hours in my business proved instrumental in connecting with various business owners. It’s remarkable how stretching beyond your comfort zone can result in meaningful relationships and opportunities. Being able to expand my operating hours might have seemed like a gamble, but it led to building a strong clientele base and exploring new avenues within my business.

The decision to embrace this risk granted me the freedom to explore and develop my business further. Not only did it allow me to uncover new possibilities, but it also enriched my personal life. Being able to spend more quality time with my daughter due to flexible hours is a heartwarming outcome. Ultimately, my willingness to take risks has brought me to a point of empowerment, growth, and increased connection, both in my professional and personal spheres.

My journey as a makeup artist, stylist, interior designer, and event planner has been an incredible ride, defined by unique aspects that set me apart. What I’m most proud of is my unyielding determination, which has kept me moving forward even when faced with challenges. One of the hurdles I’ve had to navigate is maintaining motivation during slower times and learning how to consistently fill my schedule.

It’s true, my path has not always been easy. Overcoming challenges required a combination of perseverance, a strong support network, and a willingness to adapt and learn. Embracing the setbacks as opportunities for growth and being open to trying new strategies played a key role in my progress. I’ve learned that challenges are a natural part of any journey, but it’s how we respond to them that truly defines our success.

What sets me apart is my passion for multiple creative fields – from makeup artistry to styling, interior design, and event planning. This versatility allows me to approach projects with a fresh perspective, combining various skills to create unique experiences and concepts. This multifaceted approach not only keeps my work dynamic but also sets me apart in a competitive landscape.

I’m most excited about the fact that my journey serves as an inspiration for my daughter. She witnesses firsthand the dedication, resilience, and passion it takes to pursue one’s dreams. The ability to show her that pressing through challenges leads to growth and success is a lesson I’m grateful to impart.
