We had the good fortune of connecting with Ariadne Mechelle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ariadne, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
My favorite quote has to be “Speak what you seek until you see what you said.” – Chris Gardner. Being careful of the words you speak on a daily basis is so imperative to your life. The more negatively you speak, the more negative you will see; that also goes for positivity. The bible says, “Death and life lies within the power of your tongue.” We have to be careful of how we not only speak over ourselves, but over people as well. Saying that you are sick or that you are tired will only make you those things. This quote and scripture means a lot to me because there’s truth in it. I love that they cause me to stop myself when I am speaking so that I can make sure that my words match up with what I want to see happen in my life.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am the CEO of Ariadne Mechelle LLC, where I specialize in Wardrobe Closet Organization and Wardrobe Styling. My goal is to curate organized spaces for people to be at ease in their wardrobes and minds.

I am most proud of my resilience because no matter what trials or tribulations come, I overcome them. Many people can attest that I am a woman of strength and persistence. This is what sets me apart from others.

Something that I am most excited about is continuing to cultivate relationships with new and existing clients. I love to see the looks on their faces when the services they purchased are more gratifying than what they could have imagined.

I understand that nothing in life comes easy. Everything I went through with starting my T-shirt business in 2021, getting pregnant, and having to put a pause on my enterprise was a lot to grasp. I stopped selling T-shirts to focus on my baby and although what I went through stunned my business, I was still able to give birth to a testimony.

In 2022 I found a love for organizing wardrobe closets and it has been history ever since. Combining my skills is something I never thought I’d be pursuing, but I genuinely love the work I do.

The lessons I’ve learned along the way are to pray about everything you do and to not rush into anything. Find what it is you love to do, research your industry/market and figure out how you will run your business. I want the world to know that I am just a girl with big dreams who wants to help young women embrace who God has called them to be through faith, fashion, and their lifestyles. I want them to be encouraged by my story and to know that they can change the world with what they were given!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting Cincinnati for a long trip we would have a ball! I’d take her to The View of Shrines Garden so that we can overlook the city, have a glass of wine, and talk. For brunch, we would go to The Taste of Belgium and then take a walk on The Banks. If the Bengals were playing, we would most definitely go to a game and enjoy the taste of a win. For shopping purposes, I’d take her to Kenwood Towne Center so that we can piece some items together for our next adventure in the city.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to give a shoutout to God, my close friends, and my family. I have the biggest support system, so it would be crazy to list everyone! I am beyond grateful for the encouragement, prayers, correction, and love that they give me on a daily basis. Everything I have done would’ve been impossible without them. You all are EVERYTHING to me and more!
