Hi Aravia, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting a business. Was what could I leave behind for my son? What legacy? Something that he would enjoy doing when I’m long and gone. Something that would forever be trendy. I started the business based on my son he was my whole entire process.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’m so excited that MY jewelry makes a statement! I can point my pieces out on anyone at any given time!! My jewelry will complete any and every look you are going for! I’m excited that I can leave something for my son! Nothing worth having comes easy. Being a business woman and full time mom is harddddd!!! But I learned If you get up everyday ready to make a change and market yourself! YOU CAN DO IT ALL!! Faith over fear!! I want the world to know that KAID COMPLETE is going to take over all your jewelry needs. My Small business that will turn into a huge business WORLD WIDE in time. Watch out for us! We will have all your needs plus more! I want the world to know never give up on your dreams you can have one sale today and 17 tomorrow. You gotta keep going!!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take her to Willie AB’s for good vibes and nice brunch during the day. I’d take her downtown to ride scooters and view the city.. then we would pick up some pizza at the ultimate Slim and Husky’s on Broadway. We would then enjoy some night life at Minerva and the WKND.. enjoy the vibes. Hopefully we could catch a Titans game she loves football so that would be amazing. I would also like for her to get dressed up and we go to EDDIE Vs.. followed by showing her my jewelry and asking her input. Because she is a business woman herself. She has a boutique. So we often share ideas and ways to elevate!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My son! AXTON KAID FORD! He’s been my motivation! My reasoning for everything! He came three months early into this world and has been my pusher since. My tribe my mother and grandmother as well as my friends, have also been big pushers for me making sure that I get everything done. Without them and GOD I would be nothing!
