Meet Antrez Miller | Artist & Songwriter

We had the good fortune of connecting with Antrez Miller and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Antrez, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
I believe that we live in a world that is burdened down by trials and challenges that seem so impossible to carry at times and with the increased number of such trials coming into closer proximity to our everyday lives, we find it harder and harder to find a way of escape. I believe music is the answered prayer for a way of escape. Music has a way of transcending the trials and problems in our lives to truly touch our hearts and offer us a comfort that very little else can give us. The music that I am grateful to produce, perform, and minister accomplishes this goal by not only providing a way of escape but also highlights the one who can help lift the heavy burdens if the trials and challenges, God. I have received many testimonials of how the music I have produced is a form of medicine to a hurting or low soul and helps lift them up and point them to Jesus. If that’s not an impact, I don’t know what is.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Antrez Miller Music prides itself on creating a unique and distinct sound that can not be heard anywhere is in our region. Whereas a lot of gospel music has lost the true meaning of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the Bible, we believe it is very important that keep our music grounded in the word of God. I will say that it took a lot of trial and error to get to where we are today but we eventually found what best works for us, the mission we are accomplishing, and the audience that we want to give it to. The main message that we want to convey to the world is that Jesus Christ is our hope and treasure and that living a life truly devoted to him can became a very fulfilling, fun, and prosperous life.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
They say that once you begin to call names that you tend to forget someone and I will definitely do that in this shoutout but there are a few people I would love to show recognition to that are apart of my story.

God is the leader of my life so he gets the ultimate shoutout just for being a good God. That’s not just what he does but rather it is just who he is. Without God, I could not do anything, but with him, I can succeed in everything that he has purposed me to do.

My family has always been supportive of the music that I make because this is the music that we grew up singing and my parents and siblings were very instrumental in helping cultivate my gift. My wife, Eboni, has been with me since I have started my brand and has been the pure definition of supportive and my rock in all I do.

My church family, Family Empowerment Center of Valdosta and my pastor, Bishop George Henfield have really helped me rest in the fact that my music, my ministry, is unique and that I am more than just a singer, but a man of God and the growth I receive in my church helps me write better, minister better, and just overall be better.

My manager, Shavon Henfield and music director, Justin Leggett, have helped me further my brand and have been an vital piece of making sure Antrez Miller Music is integral, professional, unique, and relatable. I never knew some of the possibilities that were available to me until they came along. Most importantly, they helps keep me focused and grounded. Shavon’s no push over and gives me tough love at times but it is because she knows what it takes to push me.
