We had the good fortune of connecting with Antoinette Beeks and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Antoinette, what principle do you value most?

My principle is an overarching umbrella. Under her, you find commitment to what needs to be done, paired with dedication to what should be done. Even though her actions are not always seen, the residual effects of her presence are often felt and appreciated, at times without acknowledgment. She seeks no validation in doing right because self-gratification is her polar opposite.

She is delicate. The smallest fracture compromises her existence. Once broken, her recovery is slow or nonexistent. In her absence, doubt looms. It’s an honor to take her at face value. She’s in camaraderie with trust and is the cornerstone of success. She is integrity. And she is my core principle in business and personal relationships.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.

I am excited that I can help others envision and pursue the best version of themselves. The ability to encourage with empathy and compassion goes a long way in the Wellness industry.

Prior to receiving my certification as a Wellness Coach, I faced challenges of eating healthy. I used these challenges to create a blueprint for achieving sustainable health. This blueprint became my first published book “After the Nest: The Culinary Edition”.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

We would brunch at Café Strudel, an eclectic environment and home of the best mimosas and hash browns.

To walk off a few calories, we’d head around the corner to Riverfront Park to catch the Congaree River breeze.

That evening, we would catch a drag show and have a five-star dinner at the Main Course.

While they’re in town, I’ll have them experience the best vegan food ever at A Peace of Soul in the Main Street District. The mac and cheese is like none other.

But if they really want a good burger, we would head over to Burger IM in the Northeast. The salmon burger and ginger sauce is everything!

For drinks and an awesome lake sunset, we’ll relax at Liberty Taproom on Lake Murray.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to Shoutout Nikki Eason, Creator and Director of The Androgynous Model. Her mentorship, love, support, and encouragement have been pivotal in my growth, not only in modeling, but in life. Thank you for the push.
