We had the good fortune of connecting with Antoine Perrin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Antoine, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I started my Photography Business because many of my family and friends either didn’t take pictures or wanted pictures and no one to take them. I ended up buying a camera 20+ years ago and the rest is history lol.

I started my Nonprofit because of the conditions I see in Los Angeles as far as the homeless condition. I’ve been there and I have some friends who have been in the same situation and I want to help in changing the landscape. I lived in my RV for about 2 years and it was nothing but problems with city ordinances and the police of the individual cities I’ve parked in.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Lol this seems to blow folk away when I tell them I can do so many things and I never limit my self to just one. I can Bake, I can Cook, I can sew, I can do my own auto repairs, I build, upgrade and repair computers. The one I’m on now was bulit by me. My photography is the main thing I do so far. I I have known so many who don’t take pictures and I try to remind them that pictures are memories for people who may or may not meet you in the future. And the future is any day after today. You always have pitfalls in anything you do. You have people who will always have something to say whether its positive or negative. I’ve had my fair share of both but I’ve worked with some Fantastic people over the years and some of us have remained as friends. You just know who the keepers are. The world is a big and ever changing place with many different personalities, Attitudes and opinions. The one’s that truly matters are yours and the ones you keep in your circle. Depending on the size of your circle you can have all the personalities, attitudes and opinions you can ever use….ever lol

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Wow that’s a good question. Corona has limited so much But If this were another time then I would definitely take them to Las Vegas. So many places to see and eat there. But also San Diego because we would have to go to the San Diego wild Animal park And the Marina, two places I think are some of the most beautiful attractions out there. In My city we would have to visit the Griffith observatory and Hollywood, Ride up to Universal Citywalk for all the restaurants. There are so many places to visit here and in my years of living here I have yet to see even half of what Los Angeles has to offer. Ride over to Exposition Park to visit the Rose garden and the California African American Museum. And I actually have to mention a few places in Downtown Los Angeles. The disney center has a park situated on its roof. Perfect for hanging out, Pics and great view, Plus a light lunch. Or we can go to The Original Pantry Cafe owned by Former mayor of Los Angeles. Great food and Atmosphere.
