We had the good fortune of connecting with Anthony Stone and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anthony, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
My mind has always been impacted by creativity my entire life. Taking a creative approach to things is what I mean. Whether it’s creative design or creative direction – I’ve always bowed to creative processes.

Even in management there are many elements that require a creative approach. Mix that with my love of great music and storytelling, the music business was the only option.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m an artist manager now in Nashville, TN recently moved from Atlanta.

Originally from a small town in south Georgia – I got my first taste of the creative world when I dove into graphic design about 15+ years ago. It wasn’t until 2014 I really found my passion working alongside artist/songwriter Ben Wells & Average Joe’s Entertainment as day-to-day & coordinator. In 2019, I started working with producer/artist/songwriter/now close friend Alex Smith and decided to extend my services to a handful of emerging acts.
Having a creative side to help fuel these ongoing relationships with these different artists, producers, publishers, a&rs, creative directors etc has really helped throughout my career – and in 2022 I was named Nashville’s Young Entertainment Professionals’ “Biggest Goal Digger”. Since then, I’ve worked alongside projects & artists as Andrew Jannakos, Lily Rose, Brittney Spencer, Matt Roy, Ronnie Dunn, Brandon Davis, Kyle Clark, HASTING & several other rising artists/songwriters.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Since we’re referring to The A – For breakfast, we’d go to the The Chick Fil-A Dwarf House in Hapeville. For lunch we’d hit up this small place right off The Beltline called Ladybird then head right on down to Ponce City Market and the whole Old 4th Ward area. So many places & shops over there. After all that we’d catch a Hawks or Braves game & then straight to a Waffle House afterwards.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Definitely want to shoutout and dedicate this to both my parents. A driving, motivational force behind many of the things I do professionally and personally.

Also want to shoutout Brigit Page (@iambrigitp) for showing me true hard work, patience, and how to really set your mind to something and go get it.
