Hi Ansylla, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
Due to the abundance of (mis)information about cryptocurrency, many are not aware that crypto is not a quick money grab. Rather it is the future of finance. Understanding cryptocurrency now will afford many the opportunity to benefit from cryptocurrency and the underlying technology – Blockchain.

Think of cryptocurrency as the backstage pass to the future of finance. Most people see it as a trendy concert ticket for a quick show, but in reality, it’s the golden ticket to witness the entire evolution of music! While some are fixated on the catchy opening acts (quick money grabs), those who understand crypto are securing their spots for the headliner – the long-term game-changing performance of Blockchain technology.

It’s like having access to the “VIP Lounge” of finance. While others might be waiting in line for the concert to start, those who dive into crypto now are enjoying early access to the transformative technology that’s reshaping the entire industry. This isn’t just about making a few bucks; it’s about being part of the movement that’s rewriting the rules of the financial playbook.

Cryptocurrency and blockchain aren’t just passing trends; they’re the symphony reshaping the entire orchestra of finance. Understanding them today isn’t just about grabbing a handful of cash; it’s about tuning in to the symphony that’s composing the future of wealth and transactions. Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
After 17 years of entrepreneurship, in 2017 I experienced a panic attack while styling a client’s hair. This moved me to make the difficult decision to close my thriving hair care business and look for earning opportunities that would afford me time freedom. This search ultimately led to cryptocurrency. The more I understood crypto, the more I wanted to help others do the same.

As a Crypto Confidence Coach since 2018, I have offered webinars, classes, online summits and group coaching programs to empower others with crypto knowledge.

In 2021, I authored Start Your Crypto Journey in 3 Simple Steps, an e-book with uncomplicated fundamentals to help crypto newbies safely navigate the crypto space. It is available in English and French.

I later added the Start Your Crypto Journey paperback in English on Amazon as part of the Crypto Beginners Collection – a set of 4 books to help crypto beginners properly prepare for crypto.

I have helped countless crypto beginners in 8 countries – Ghana, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, US, UK, Canada, France and Switzerland – start their crypto journeys. In an effort to help even more people push past FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt), I have created the Crypto Beginners Bundle – books, tools and videos that help crypto beginners understand fundamentals, protect their information, secure their assets and create a realistic investment plan.

My role in the cryptocurrency space is rather unique. I am not a techie, so I do not fit in those circles. Instead, my focus is to help beginners, So I spend time with the techies to get a clear understanding, and then I do my best to break down this emerging technology in terms that non-techies can easily understand. Many of the popular influencers in crypto often recruit new members to investment platforms and talk about which coins will likely yield the biggest ROI – although they preface their content with “not financial advice.” I do not recruit. I do not give investment advice. I simply help beginners prepare for crypto so that they can safely navigate the crypto space. Once they are properly prepared, they can invest and/or trade how they wish.

I am super excited and proud that I was commissioned to write a Web 3 curriculum for grades 6 – 8. It has been approved and will be available on a home-schooling platform based in Canada. It is imperative to prepare young people for the future and I am honored to play a role,

This journey has not been easy. In 2017, there was not the abundance of crypto information that exists now. I was not often made to feel welcomed in certain groups and was even made to feel like an idiot when I entered these groups and asked questions. I had to put in the time and effort to educate myself. I also lost money in investment platforms that preyed on the less experienced. These are the very reasons I created a safe space where people can feel free to ask questions. I strive to help as many as possible achieve crypto clarity, so they can avoid the mistakes I made. I firmly believe that each person should clearly understand crypto fundamentals BEFORE investing one red cent. This clarity
can also help them better grasp the opportunities that crypto and Blockchain make possible and determine how they can best benefit from this technology going forward.

I have learned the following lessons: (1) Read past the headlines. Many people see a few words in a headline and immediate form an opinion without knowing all the facts. (2) Consider the source. Is the source of this information concerned about your family’s well-being? Do they really want you to be prepared for the future? Do they want you to take advantage of possible exponential growth of your investments? (3) Do as they do. Despite what the media reports, what are other major financial players and institutions implementing in the crypto space? Are they avoiding it like many media sources advise? Or are they creating platforms and forming alliances to encourage use of digital currency?

I want the world to know that since 2018, I have worked to help communities throughout the diaspora to appreciate how empowering digital assets can be, how Blockchain is disrupting business and finance globally and that they should consider how this technology can help them, their families, their businesses and their communities.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
As I mentioned in my email, I am not a resident of Atlanta. When I am there, I usually only have time for the events I am attending. I don’t have much time to enjoy the city.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I must dedicate my shoutout to my incredibly awesome mother. She has cheered me on through each endeavor and supported me as I executed every business idea I’ve had over the years.
