We had the good fortune of connecting with Annalise Hartwell and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Annalise, what do you attribute your success to?
Being authentic is one of the key pieces of being a successful business and brand. Once you stray away from that light, the interest in you and your company is lost. You begin to clump together with other brands and get lost.
Being grounded, and in touch with your community and market is my top priority. I show my audience them how I create, who I am, who my team consists of, and express forward love for them and what I do. I wouldn’t have a brand, audience, business, or this life without my customers and clients. That needs to be shown and loved!
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I root a lot of my creativity in care and love for others. It shows in my prices, handling of products, the way I speak with my customers and clients, and fellow business owners. It has given me leverage to be able to serve anyone who may be in need of my floral services. I communicate with brides, moms, fiancés, and friends, of all backgrounds. Everyone gets married, throws parties, or just loves home decor. All 3 of which I specialize in. This enables me to happily assist anyone who needs me!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m a lover of a slow lifestyle, so I would definitely take them down to midtown for a picnic. There is a local produce store in Dawsonville where I would definitely pickup some fruits, cheese, and sparkling water. Toss a big hassled blanket in my trunk and hit the road! Kilwins at the Halcyon would also be a must needed stop on the way home for ice cream.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are so many amazing folks in this creative field, but one that stands out the most to me is Kristen Cardinal. She is always kind, caring, and even with her busy schedule, she makes time for others.
