We had the good fortune of connecting with Annalis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Annalis, what’s the most difficult decision you’ve ever had to make?
The most difficult decision that I had to make in my life was leaving my family back home in order to do my career, because where I grew up it was a small hometown, which means their wasn’t enough opportunities to do modeling, so I knew that I had to move out of there in order to get where I want to be, so that meant that I had to leave the majority of my family behind, but at the end of day you have to do what’s right for yourself, in order to be happy.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart from others is that I have a good energy around people, I am always in a energetic mood, and I just love to interact with other individuals, and meet new people. I also am a very hard worker, and I just am very passionate about my career. I really didn’t have that much when I was growing up when I was younger, so I pretty much had to work for everything that I have in my life, so I am very thankful for what I have. . The challenges to get to where I am at today wasn’t easy at all , I came from a very toxic city, which my family was toxic, and friends were. I was also bullied just about my whole entire life, and that was really hard on me growing up. I also went through many tragic experiences too. I overcome all those situation’s by just pushing myself to keep on going, and telling myself that things will get better, and I was right. My whole entire life changed when I moved, and I am so happy, and proud that I was able to overcome all what happened to me. Some lessons that I have learned along the way on my career is that modeling isn’t easy at all, it is a very hard industry to get yourself into, but it’s not impossible. To all the new models, keep on going don’t give up even though this industry is challenging , you will make it if you just believe in yourself. I also have learned not everyone’s life is perfect for an example mine isn’t, yeah I might be a model, but everyone is going through things that you might not be aware of, on social media lots of people tend to create this version of themselves that there life is perfect, and happy, but it’s not, like supermodel Bella Hadid, she has shown on her Instagram of her have mental breakdowns, so trust me no one life is perfect, so never assume that about someone just because they might be an model, artist, photographer,etc. That’s why I like to show on my social media what reality is behind being an model. What I want the world to learn about my story is that you might go through a lot in life, but you can always follow your dreams no matter where you come from, nothing is impossible if you just put that commitment into what you want you will get it , so go follow your dreams, and don’t let anyone tell you so.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take my best friend to Downtown Atlanta just because their are lot of attractions, restaurants, etc. I would take them to my favorite restaurant, which would be Slutty Vegan, I love all there options that they have, and the food is super good too. I also take them to Underground Atlanta, it is a very cool spot here in ATL, I feel like it’s kinda of underrated in my opinion, but they have lots of shopping places and a very good ice cream shop called I Scream Ice Cream Rolls. The last place I would say to check out in Atlanta, is the Georgia Aquarium, such a great attraction & you will have so much fun seeing all the different types of fishes, sea creatures, etc.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my sister Carlisa Lynn, without her I wouldn’t be where I am at in my career today if it wasn’t for her motivating me to do modeling, so I’m very thankful to have a sister like her.
