We had the good fortune of connecting with Anita, Alexis, Shanice, Meskara, Chevora and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anita, Alexis, Shanice, Meskara, Chevora, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Wife Gang was created by a group of wives to create another stream of income but to also show that marriage is still a part of a woman’s plan and can be a beautiful, happy experience.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Wife Gang is a group of women showing the world being a wife is not only still a goal but something that is cherished. We share this by displaying that we’re a wife not only by the rings we wear but in our apparel line. We’re building a community of women that feel the same way we do about marriage. We’ve grown so much from when we first had the idea. The hardest part of this journey is ensuring everyone’s vision is being fulfilled in some way, shape or form. We’ve had several hard conversations and compromises along the way but it’s all for the greater good of the group and brand. We have grown as individuals and as a group. We’ve been able to apply all that we’re learning in building Wife Gang to our own businesses and brands. As we continue to build and we’re excited to see Wife Gang flourish and all those that we come in contact with.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When she arrived I would take her to Princesse Nailz to get her nails and toes done. We would eat at Daddy D’s. Go to Atlantic Station and catch a movie. We would go shopping at my favorite store Ever Fashion. I would take her to get some custom bling shoes by Crazy Creations by Lexi. As a snack we would grab some candy grapes and infused drinks from B’s Treatz. Dinner would be at Ruby Chow and pull up to a show with Yoshi The Cat in the Hat and mingle with some music executives. The next day go to Atlanta Breakfast Club for brunch. Do some light shopping and dinner at my place that night. Her last day I would make breakfast at the house. For lunch we would go to Papi’s Cubian Restaurant. That night we would go to Our Bar. They have a nice vibe on Sundays.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The credit would have to go to the wives that helped create Wife Gang. We spent a lot of hours and time into getting it started.
