Meet Angeliz Bruno | Professional Wrestler & Writer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Angeliz Bruno and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Angeliz, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
Over the course of my Pro-wrestling training and career, I have experienced a significant evolution in my work-life balance. Initially, as I began my training, it was a challenge to juggle the demands of my regular “Day job” with the rigorous training schedule and personal financial budgets needed for Wrestling School. However, as time went on, I have learned to adapt and find ways to strike a better balance between the two.
Flexibility and adaptability have been crucial in managing my dual responsibilities. I had to come to an understanding that the nature of professional wrestling can be unpredictable. I had to think about the future and how to prepare myself for what is to come financially for training and physically for this particular lifestyle. Such as with shows, matches, and saving up for travel and branding yourself. Therefore, If I can give anyone an advice, It is important to maintain open communication with your employer and those involved with your personal development (scheduling for photo shoots, Hair and make up, Designers, etc.)
I am fortunate to have a strong support system that includes understanding family, friends, and colleagues who recognize my passion for Pro – wrestling. Their support and encouragement have been instrumental in helping me maintain a healthy work-life balance. Additionally, I prioritize self-care activities such as regular exercise, proper nutrition, and sufficient rest to ensure that I am physically and mentally prepared for the demands of both my job and wrestling career.
Despite the challenges, I firmly believe that striking a balance between my regular “day job” and Pro – wrestling career has had a positive impact on my overall personal and professional growth. The discipline, dedication, and resilience required in both areas have complemented each other, allowing me to continuously develop as an athlete and as an employee.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from others in both my professional wrestling career and as a writer is my ability to seamlessly blend the worlds of athleticism and storytelling. I take immense pride in my dual passions and the way they intertwine to create a distinctive brand and story.
Getting to where I am today has been a challenging journey, but one that has been incredibly rewarding. I faced numerous financial obstacles, tears and setbacks along the way, but I believe that it is through these challenges that true growth and resilience are forged. I overcame these hurdles by maintaining a steadfast belief in myself and most importantly my faith in Jesus Christ, surrounding myself with a supportive network of mentors, coaches, and loved ones who continue to push me to reach my full potential.
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is the power of perseverance and adaptability. In the ever-evolving landscape of professional wrestling and writing, it is very crucial to embrace change, continuously learn and improve, and remain open to new opportunities. Each setback, rejection or failure has served as a valuable lesson, ultimately propelling me forward with renewed determination.
What I want the world to know about me is that I am not just a Pro – wrestler or a writer; I am a storyteller. I strive to create compelling narratives both inside and outside the ring.
I want to leave a lasting impact on the world, not only through my performances but also through the stories I tell. Whether it’s in the ring or on the page, I aim to engage, connect, and leave a positive imprint on the hearts and minds of those who experience my work. I want to inspire others to pursue their dreams relentlessly and shatter the boundaries of what they believe is possible.
In summary, what sets me apart is my ability to merge athleticism and storytelling, my resilience in the face of challenges, and my unwavering commitment to leaving a lasting impact through my Pro – wrestling brand and story. I am excited about the future and the opportunities that lie ahead, knowing that my journey has only just begun.
