We had the good fortune of connecting with Angela Kimble and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Angela, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
I am an autism mom with 2 sons on the spectrum and the most important thing for me as a parent is making sure they are able to take care of themselves. And I have impacted them in a way that they are able to maintain a life style that is routine for them making sure we have a plan in place because I will not always be here. And never hindered them from doing wht they want to do. And also letting them know they are capable to express what they want and to be able to have a productive life.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a caregiver for seniors, special needs and Autism and wht sets me apart from others is having the heart, patience, and compassion to be able to handle their needs and situations that occurs . And also making sure they needs are met and treated like everyone deserves to be treated in this world with humanity, respect, kindness. And the most thing I am proud of is my Advocating for my sons and my community for autism and my coffee talks with the community. And also working on my day hab center for adults with autism. And I am super excited for my autism ministry with my church so parents can be able to enjoy services. How I am able to be where I am today is just decathlon and having a sympathetic heart and a compassion spirit. And nothing is ever easy that you want in life but you definitely have to keep pushing. And how I have overcome my challenges is just keeping my faith and my eyes on God and knowing that sometimes things get difficult and challenging but you have to stay focus and know that you can only control you and your situation. For as my lesson I have learned along the way is never give up! And let God fight your battles. What I want the world to know is I am a hard working mom of 2 grown sons with autism Trey Kimble is 27, and Jaylon Kimble is 24 they are my WORLD! And I also have a 34 years old daughter that does not have autism and she is a phenomenal big sister to her brothers. I keep god first I also am a very very active advocate in my community for autism and for my son’s I have been doing my coffee talks for six years in my community on autism. Also working on autism ministries with my church and currently working on opening my day hab for autism adults. And just continue to let my light glow as big as the stars and let women know that they are not alone when battling with special needs or autism And to let people know you don’t get to choose your life but what you can do is to make the best of it!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I wold take them to hottest spots in Houston especially the downtown area because you can eat, drinks , hang out and also have the club scene and amazing events and great people.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
