We had the good fortune of connecting with Angela Amazin Tate and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Angela, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
Coming up with the idea for my business was one of the easiest ventures Starting Amazing Caregivers Circles was personal for me and indeed a no-brainer as an idea. It is based on my own life’s journey and day to day walk. I am the Caregiver of my now adult, special needs son and had the honor of caring for my mother, who passed away in 2008 of two types of cancer. In addition, my great-grandmother and grandmother were both nurses so I truly believe that it’s in my DNA.

I knew I was gifted with helping others and wanted to expound on that so I enrolled and got my certification as a Life Coach with Tony Gaskins Coaching Academy. The excitement that I had was indescribable and when Covid-19 hit, I knew my purpose had to be put to action. People all around the world became caregivers, instantly, and didn’t know what to do with what was thrusted upon them. I decided that Caring for the Cargivers was definitely needed.

I took my new journey, along with my my life experiences as a retired hair stylist of over 33 years,( I was already coaching from behind the styling chair to my clients and didn’t realize it) and begin to provide my one-on-one and family coaching and so much more. I became “The Caregivers Coach.” There is a great need for the services I provide and my heart and soul are all in.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Well, I am Angela Amazin; Life Coach, Visionary Specialist, Author, Speaker, and CEO of Amazingly Taking Your Power Back Movement. Under this umbrella, I provide comprehensive coaching, using various methods, to encourage people to be their best selves.

Now more than ever it’s been critial to stay safe, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, etc. and here is where I come in. Though private or group coaching sessions, vision boarding, or visual and/or written materials, I offer various tips, tools, resources, strategies, and techniques, to help guide people towards positive outcomes. With caregivers, my goal is to help them to understand that they have choices and they must select those which is right for them. Looking a the full picture would can possibly help them to avoid getting burnt out, becoming stressed, or even overwhelmed. Self-love/Self-Care is an excellent way to tap into ones source of strength and power while caring /sharing for loved ones.

Caring for the Caregiver is extremely important to us as well as individual and family focus. Each of my platforms offers consistency, common sense practices, and comprehensive care for those in need.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My family and friends often take weekend trips to vist me. I get to plan outings, which are always fun and filled with outstanding food. Lets start with my 3 top choices. I like:

SOUTH CITY KITCHEN IN MIDTOWN SLUTTY VEAGAN IN ATLANTA COPELANDS OF NEW ORLEANS IN ATLANTA-CUMBERLAND AREA

In addition, I love hitting the Silver Commet Trails for a nice walk or Kennesaw Mountain. Before social distancing, we would always hit Lennox or Perimeter malls but have learned that catching up via phone, zoom, or social media. We hope to, in the near future, find the time to connect face to face.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are so many amazing people that have help me adjust my crown and shine. I would recognize my mentors Dr. Linda Lyons and Coach Dequonna Wise. Words can’t express how it feels to be connected to such phenomenal women. Organizations and others that helped me transitioned into my new career is P.O.W.E.R: PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION OF WOMEN OF EXCELLLENCE RECOGNIZED. I was featured on billbords, magazines and even received a Lifetime Achievement Award from this wonderful group.

Also, in 2020, Urban CEO Network was a game-changing platform that helped me and my business. They, along with the Queen of Book Profiting, Taurea Vision Avant, taught me not only how to write books but how to make a substantial profit from them.

I gain inspiration, on a constant basis, from my extended and blended group of family and friends which includes my godmother, Olivia Rankin, who shares nothing but wisdom, Brenda Elaine Ragland who has always been a link in my life’s chain, Moms ‘R’ People 2 Non-profit Organization Founder, Angel Nicole, who has helped me by connecting me to her purpose, Joyce Schwarz, Founder & Executive Director at The Vision Board Institue, Kimberly Martin, a true social butterfly, Arena Hansell of Armore Writing Solutions, who has been my #1 supporters for over fifteen years, my prayer groups and prayer partners, especially Mrs. Vernique Ferebee, and all my social media groups, teachers, and former coworkers.

Finally, I wouldn’t be where I am today without the love, care, and such of my daughter, two sons, and sister.
